NJS (born January 29, 1979), is a Welsh professional wrestler. He has also worked as an author. NJS is best known for his time in the Total Wrestling Federation, the promotion with which he largely made his name. NJS also helped his family establish the Xtreme Championship Wrestling (XCW) promotion, which ran from 2002 to 2005 and formed one half of the xTreMe Wrestling Alliance (xWa) with the TWF. NJS also made appearances in prominent federations such as the RWF, WEW and XWF.

As part of the TWF, NJS is a Full House winner, a distinction given to those who have won a singles title in each of the TWF's three tiers as well as the Tag–Team Championship. He is a multiple time World Champion and in 2009, was honoured with the title of the TWF's Wrestler of the Decade. In XCW, he was a two-time World Champion and former Intercontinental Champion. His reign as the champion of the xWa was the longest during the alliance's history and is considered a reason that helped solidify XCW as a clear rival to the TWF during the company's heyday. Following a contract dispute in late-2010, NJS has become in-active and is considered by some to be "unofficially retired" from wrestling.

Outside of wrestling, in May 2010, NJS's autobiography - entitled Breaking Down the Laws - was released to favourable reviews.

First TWF Run (2000-2001)
  +
NJS made his first TWF appearance on the very first TWF program, Wednesday Grit BasH on February 9, 2000. He wrestled as NJS on that program, defeating a jobber from the SCW promotion that the TWF borrowed talent from during the first few shows. Mr. BIG and his friend the Red Dragon found NJS as a source of amusement for the first month or so of the TWF's existence and often mocked him and his efforts, proclaiming "he's just a chick who's hatched from an egg". This led to the nickname "Chick Job-Smith", which soon caught on as even the ring announcers referred to him as such. After one memorable performance against former TWF talent Matthew D. Jones, NJS was mocked by the Red Dragon as he soon "evolved" into Peacock Job-Smith. At the TWF's first pay-per-view, No Way Out 2000, NJS and the man who would later become better known as Marz would have their very first meeting in an infamous Sumo match. To the shock of the crowd, it was Mr. BIG (at ringside to manage the Dragon that night) who would provide the distraction to send Marz tumbling out of the ring. This moment remains one of the TWF's biggest talking points. The following night, the duo would debut their Future Generation-X stable, the likes of which they said would "terrorise the TWF for years to come".
  +
  +
During his tenure with Future Generation-X, NJS would begin feuding with men with whom he would cross paths with at many points in his future. From April until August, NJS would fight many battles with A-Pac, a man who would later become known as The AshTaker. In August 2000, he fought his brother Nidian for the first time in a highly publicised "Brother versus Brother" match at the first Summer Break in Las Vegas. The brothers would feud for the rest of 2000, taking in a memorable closing sequence at the King of the Ring pay-per-view in September which saw NJS eliminate his brother last to win the honour, and competing in the first ever Rage in the Double Cage match at Dangerously Serious in 2000 against his brother and ending the match both victorious and bloodied. In-between these highly competitive matches, NJS would often appear as one of the members of an FX tandem that would defend the TWF Tag-Team Championships.
  +
  +
Despite his intense wars with Nidian and A-Pac, the man known as the Red Dragon became Dead Cool and continued to mock NJS and his efforts, despite the fact that he was already a two-time Intercontinental Champion and former Light Heavyweight Champion. In January 2001, the two met in a match for the combined European and Intercontinental Championships, which Dead Cool ended up victorious in a match where he debuted the Marz Holly persona. NJS went back to focusing on his brother and again they competed in a classic TWF match in February 2001. NJS defended his Light Heavyweight Championship in a unique Double Jeopardy match against Brownie, High Voltage and Nidian. After defeating Brownie to advance, he then had another bloodied battle with his brother which only ended when NJS hit the N-Factor through a table onto a chair. The brothers continued feuding in a classic format that the fans adored, but all of this changed when Marz rose to power in the TWF. NJS was forced to fight his childhood friend Mr. BIG at Easter HeAT 2001 in a match that to this day, both men refuse to acknowledge. Marz's assumed vendetta against NJS continued as he was forced to fight in increasingly humiliating matches and positions. NJS and Marz crossed paths many times in mid-2001, and their intense rivalry was kicked up a notch when Holly defeated NJS in an impromptu Steel Cage match at Against All Odds 2001, which only took place after Marz refused to leave the event beaten. NJS handed in his notice to the company in July 2001 and was jobbed out of the company, with the ultimate humiliation being placed in his own submission hold at the main event of Summer Break 2001 whilst Marz regained his championship.
  +
  +
NJS left the company and headed for North America, where he entered the Extreme Wrestling Company, where he was quickly joined by Mr. BIG, who joined him in North America as a form of "salvation" from Marz's TWF tyranny. After EWC closed down, NJS was forced to return to the TWF with the tail between his legs. With his ideas being shot down, it was around this time that he began gaining interest for forming his own company, originally to be called the World Wrestling Championship (WWC).

Second TWF Run (2001-2005)
  +
After returning from North America, NJS was originally going to lead a faction of wrestlers against both the TWF and BCW federations in a cancelled invasion angle. However, NJS did engage in an exciting feud with the Team EV faction, facing Brownie and Blonde Man in matches from November 2001 to March 2002. NJS was gaining praise for his exceptional work rate at this time and was earmarked by several wrestling journalists to be a "big deal in 2002". NJS did not disappoint, with many continuing to argue that his Annus mirabilis was that particular year. NJS became close to upsetting the TWF order when he fought with The AshTaker as the final two competitors in the 2002 New Year Rumble. The AshTaker's newest affiliate was NJS's brother, now going under the name for which he is best known, Deadman. Deadman returned to the TWF to cost NJS his match against Blonde Man at Easter HeAT 2002 and the two faced off once more in the opening match of WrestleMania 3 in May, which NJS won.
  +
  +
NJS's breakout match was against the first TWF World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Jeffers, in a match for the Intercontinental Championship at Against All Odds 2002 which we won, a pay-per-view held in high esteem by TWF aficionados. Two months later, NJS was victorious at Summer Break once more, winning a four way Hell in a Cell match for his title. After The AshTaker defeated Mr. BIG to become TWF World Champion, he firmly set his sights on NJS, and the two fought in another highly acclaimed match at Halloween Hell 2002, which saw interference from both Deadman and Mr. BIG. Mr. BIG invited his friend to join him in the Z-Pack faction and the duo's popularity rose to brand new highs as a result of this as the two's real-life friendship was explored on screen. NJS surprised the AshTaker in November 2002, invoking his rematch clause on an episode of Wednesday Grit BasH, and upsetting him to win the TWF World Championship for the first time. During this reign, NJS would retain the championship in the first ever House of Pain match, a match which has become a TWF staple. NJS would lose the title at New Year Partee in January 2003 in a hellacious Table, Ladders & Chairs match to the AshTaker.

Despite hurting from the loss to his bitter rival, NJS rebounded in some style a month later, acting as XCW representative in a match against TWF representative The Shott in a match for the newly created xWa Interpromotional Championship. NJS won the match to become the first champion, and proudly defended the belt in both the TWF and XCW for over a year, in which time he defended the championship against the likes of Hawke, The AshTaker, Frekishi, Deadman and The Shott. When the prominent members of the TWF hierarchy split into two in June 2003, NJS aligned himself with the Rebels with Attitude, which delighted fans. NJS's popularity rose as he was accompanied by his manager and girlfriend Lita to matches and raising laughs with his friend Mr. BIG. BIG and NJS's partnership remains the most popular in the history of the TWF. When Mr. BIG was injured by Frekishi, NJS took it upon himself to avenge the injury and fought Frekishi in brutal matches during late-2003. When High Voltage turned on the faction he established, NJS assumed the leadership role of the Rebels with Attitude and steered them to victory in a 5-on-5 elimination match for the team's careers at No Way BacK 2004, the coup de grâce for the Rebels team being the unannounced return of Mr. BIG at the match's conclusion to help NJS score the pinfall and drive Seek and Destroy's leader (and Mr. BIG's brother) Mr. Edwards away from the company. At Easter HeAT a month later, Mr. Edwards returned to cost NJS his xWa Championship in an Ambulance Match with Hawke. NJS disappeared from the TWF after this match as he got married to Lita.
  +
  +
NJS returned to the TWF on the June 25 RAW to attack The Rogers Brothers (known as The Rogerz). Shortly afterword, NJS revealed his ambition to become a Full House winner having won the European, Intercontinental and World Championships, he needed the Tag-Team Championships to fore fill this requirement. NJS's partner would be his friend Mr. BIG and at Summer Break V in one of the most emotional matches in TWF history, Biggie won the match and helped NJS achieve his dream, prompting memorable celebrations at the TWF Arena. NJS took a short hiatus in September due to family and personal issues, but returned to help defend the championships later that month against the Rogerz in their re-match. The Z-Pack really hit their stride at this time, perfecting their tag-team wrestling whilst being very entertaining and called by many fans "the best tag-team in TWF history". In October 2004 however, things took a strange turn. In a scheduled title defence against the team of The AshTaker and The Terminator in the second Rage in the Double Cage match, NJS fell through an open cell panel after legitimately losing a serious amount of blood. The injuries sustained from the fall saw NJS out for almost two months, but he returned in time to hook up with Biggie to face Hawke & Frekishi at PayBacK 2004.
  +
  +
After a final encounter with the S.I.N. team at Shockwave in January 2005, the Z-Pack turned their sights to Team EV and began their epic feud for the Tag-Team Championships. At this time, Louise entered the corner of NJS and this was partly a source of the hostilities as Blonde Man claimed he was attracted to her, leading Biggie to initially defend her, which then led NJS into proceedings. The two teams fought a classic series of matches between February and April 2005, culminating in their amazing Gas Chamber match at No Way BacK 2005, which was given the title of "unofficial TWF Match of 2005". Shortly after this match, Mr. BIG announced his retirement to concentrate on his new corporate duties and offered NJS the chance to pick a replacement partner, but he refused, stating "things wouldn't be the same". With Biggie gone, NJS returned to singles competition, facing off against Hawke (the man who Mr. BIG faced in his retirement match) at Against All Odds in a brutal Hell in a Cell match. A month later, Marz re-entered the cross-hairs of NJS, costing him a match against Frekishi at Total Chaos. In the month that followed, the two squared-up many times on TWF television, cutting many promos about their past and proclaiming that their match at Summer Break "would be the one to settle the score". In one of the greatest matches in TWF history, NJS defeated Marz at Summer Break VI to avenge his humiliation five years earlier and after the match, the two long-time rivals shook hands. After Summer Break VI, the TWF went into hiatus.

Xtreme Championship Wrestling (2002-2005)
  +
In October 2002, NJS announced plans that his family had formulated to open their own wrestling federation with the name Xtreme Championship Wrestling. NJS announced that the TWF would initially help with providing talent and some financial assistance but it was hoped that the company would be self-sufficient in a short period of time. NJS would spend the most part of his XCW career feuding with his bitter enemies The AshTaker and Deadman. NJS defeated The AshTaker for his first XCW Intercontinental Championship at XCW's first pay-per-view Halloween Chaos in October 2002. AshTaker then involved his stable mates from his despicable Ministry of Darkness. Whilst NJS would also defend his newly won xWa Championship, he would also defend his Intercontinental Championship. However, the demanding schedule eventually meant that NJS slipped up and Danny would win the IC Title in a Falls Count Anywhere match thanks to the M.O.D's involvement.
  +
  +
NJS would continue to defend his xWa Championship thanks to the TWF and XCW's unique alliance and he would remain involved with the M.O.D. and defeated each member at successive events to keep hold of the championship. At Control in July 2003, NJS survived the most demanding wrestling tournament of all-time, the Xtreme King of the Ring, winning Tables and Triple Cage matches (the latter against The AshTaker) to get to the finals of the tournament, only to be defeated in the finals by The Irish Warrior in a Glass Table match, after which NJS said his body was in the worst pain he had ever felt. Defeat to the Irish Warrior meant he caught the attention of The Celtic Warrior for the first time and the two would go on to have many great battles in the company, with NJS largely being successful. NJS's relationship with his father then came bubbling to the surface as his father's hired gun, former friend, Big Martin, attacked NJS over the course of several weeks leading to a highly-anticipated TLC match at Halloween Chaos 2 at which Big Martin retained the Intercontinental Championship.
  +
  +
When Mr. BIG was injured at the hands of Frekishi at TWF Halloween Hell 2003, NJS stepped up to avenge his fallen friend and would have a series of bloodied battles with The Frek, culminating in an XCW World Championship match at the End of 2003 episode of XCW Metal which saw NJS win the XCW World Championship for the very first time. The two continued to trade shots at each other over the following months, with NJS losing the title in February 2004 only to regain it a month later at XCW's showcase event, WrestleMadness in a brutal Three Way Chamber of Horrors match. NJS remained the champion until old enemy The AshTaker returned to his cross-hairs, and less than a month after winning the title for the second time, NJS would lose it once more, and it was another title loss thanks to his younger brother Deadman. This was the last significant action NJS would see in XCW as shortly after losing the championship he took time off due to his wedding to Lita, but would later return to ignite the vicious Z-Pack/S.I.N. rivalry in the later part of 2004.
  +
  +
NJS's family however had grown tired of the stress that running the company had on their lives and towards the end of 2004 there were strong rumours that the TWF would buy the remains of XCW. After XCW Massacre in December 2004, the company laid dormant for many months. Although a card for Apocalypse was announced in February 2005, it did not materialise. NJS's enthusiasm for the business was waning as he wanted to concentrate on his personal life. However, NJS made an appearance at the XCW reunion program, Back with a Vengeance in June 2005, stealing the show in the Four Way Main Event for the XCW World Championship. After the event, there were rumours and strong support for an XCW return, but on October 23, 2005, NJS and his family released a statement that Xtreme Championship Wrestling was now closed. The company retained a strong legacy, with it's own arena now used occasionally by former xWa partner the TWF for it's TV Shows and it is often used for local school graduations.

Other Promotions (2001-2005)
  +
NJS was a member of the Rebel Wrestling Federation at the very beginning and was featured in the initial tournament to determine an RWF World Champion, however he was eliminated from the tournament at the semi-finals by Big Bob Basher. NJS was deeply unhappy with his initial RWF portrayal due the the company's duel ownership - his positive relationship with High Voltage saw him align with fellow RWF stalwarts such as Jean Claude Van Slam, whilst the following week he would attack those same friends thanks to his negative relationship with The Shott (mainly due to his intense hatred of Marz). When Mr. BIG reignited the RWF in 2005, NJS played a starring role as one of the xWa Representatives alongside Biggie, and the two would be present at every event "ensuring everything went along swimmingly". The duo's continued chemistry from their TWF days made them a popular part of the program. It was at an RWF event that NJS and Louise made their relationship public, embracing at the end of an event thanks to Mr. BIG and High Voltage.
  +
  +
Deadman also allowed his brother to appear in World Extreme Wrestling, where NJS contrasted his nice guy image in most of his other on-screen appearances with that of an over-bearing, jealous older brother in Deadman's company. NJS was tremendously successful in inciting WEW crowds, especially as WEW World Champion. NJS would hold the title during the company's disappearance, losing it upon it's return to Deadman's close ally, Jerry Lawler.
  +
  +
NJS's run in the Xtreme Wrestling Federation was described by the company's former owner, The Bandit, in 2009 as "one of the biggest regrets in the company's history". After initially heading to North America without much success, Bandit admitted that in hindsight, not picking up NJS was one of the "dumbest moves that the company ever made". Determined to not let NJS slip away a second time, in the 2004 revived XWF, NJS again formed an important part alongside his Z-Pack stablemates, Mr. BIG and The Bandit. However, the company did not last longer than a couple of shows and both sides agree that it was a regret that NJS was never made available in the company.

On Hiatus (2005-2008)
  +
After the TWF went on hiatus and XCW closed down, NJS took time away from wrestling, not competing for almost two years. In interviews in 2005 and 2006, NJS cited a serious burnout and "lack of desire" with regards to wrestling once more and he considered himself "retired". During this time, his relationship with Louise ended and she started to date Josh Jericho, a move that was met with much condemnation from TWF fans. NJS said after this that he was unlikely to return to wrestling. He made an appearance at the TWF One Night Only pay-per-view in May 2006 to team with Jon Bennetta and Mr. BIG against a Jocks team that included Jericho. After the match, NJS said he was excited to perform in front of a crowd again, but when questioned about a possible full-time return, he "seemed disinterested" according to fans.
  +
  +
When the TWF returned in 2007, gossip sites were full of rumours of NJS's impending return to the company, which many fans said seemed "inevitable". NJS continued to state that his "heart wasn't in the business anymore" and that he would not return. In mid-2007, NJS approached the TWF about a possible return, but negotiations stalled over issues regarding the ownership of the XCW Video Library and NJS's salary. NJS was encouraged "not to rush" into a return as friends said he only wanted to return "in top shape". When Mr. BIG left the TWF in January 2008 as a result of backstage issues, NJS broke off talks with the company out of loyalty to his best friend. At the request of Biggie, NJS worked a one-off independent date in Georgia in March 2008. Shortly afterword, NJS re-entered talks with the TWF.
  +
  +
Third TWF Run (2008-2011)
  +
NJS made his return to the company at the conclusion of a match between his brother Deadman and Mastermind at No Way BacK 2008. NJS attacked TWF Managing Director, Paul Heyman, and aligned himself with his brother. NJS planned to manage his brother until around Summer Break, where he would make his in-ring return. However, NJS became extremely angry at the changes in the TWF since his departure in 2005 and on the May 2 Fury, he conducted a shoot promo where he criticised the Paul Heyman-era of the company and the fans who cheered at Mr. BIG's departure. The most memorable phrase from the promo regarded Biggie when he said "You booed him when he left, but he was the only guy who could control this place - and now look at what we have in his place". NJS did not join the rest of the TWF roster when they flew out for a North American tour and officially left the company.
  +
  +
At Summer Break IX, NJS sat alongside his father Mr. Job-Smith and his brother's fiancée, Ms. Sweet, to watch Deadman face The Assassin for the TWF World Championship. NJS hit his patented Dragon Attack onto Heyman affiliates Justin Polaris and Mastermind and lead the in-ring celebrations of his brother's victory, which gave Deadman his first TWF World Championship. Days later, Mr. BIG's manager Sophie (who returned to the TWF at Summer Break IX) announced that negotiations between NJS and the TWF would re-open for a return, as Heyman left the TWF as a result of his Dangerous Alliance being defeated at Summer Break. At Collision Course in September, NJS made his return to much fanfare when Sophie announced he would be in Deadman's corner for his World Championship defence at the show. NJS returned to the ring in a tag-team match, teaming with Deadman to face Mastermind and The Assassin in the TWF TV Special, Fall of Heroes in October. NJS continued to defend his brother and save him from attacks from his rivals after his return. In the run-up to a House of Pain match, NJS insisted that he would help his brother retain his championship.
  +
  +
At Dangerously Serious, NJS helped his brother and the two climbed to the top of the second cage together and they posed and hugged to the delight of the fans. However, in one of the biggest shocks in TWF history, NJS hit his brother with an N-Factor and won the World Championship for a second time. As a result of the finish to the match, NJS was booed by fans for the first time in his career. NJS cited his hatred of his younger sibling and how he craved the limelight as the reasons for his turn and cited his desire to see his brother fail at everything he does. NJS captained a team which won the very first TWF Devil's Den match at PayBack 2008, with the match's enduring image being Deadman's face pouring with blood, refusing to tap-out to the Laws of NJS. After winning the Time Crisis match at Reality Check in 2009, Deadman was confirmed to face the TWF World Champion at No Way BacK in March.
  +
  +
NJS would face his bitter rival Marz in-between in a Tables, Ladders, Cell match at Deadly MindGames, the TWF's first pay-per-view in Australia. The match was a first of many highly-rated matches NJS would have in 2009, continuing the next month at No Way BacK, where he was upended by his brother for the title thanks to interference from his enemies The AshTaker and The Terminator. Prior to this event, NJS was acknowledged at the TWF's 10th Anniversary Dinner as the company's Wrestler of the Decade, beating some of his friends and rivals to the honour. NJS would win back the World Championship from Deadman in an Iron Man match at Reckless Abandon in May. During this period, NJS affiliated himself with the influential Entourage stable. Whilst not considered an official member, he is referred to be TWF fans as an associate or unofficial member due to his friendship with Justin Polaris and the TWF Commissioner, Alexis Polaris, which offered him protection during his TWF World Championship defenses. NJS would lose the World Championship to Blade at Summer Break X in another highly-rated match and the two's re-match a month later at Nowhere to Run was also commended by critics. NJS's association with the Entourage meant that he crossed paths with The Assassin, who had taken TWF rookie Patrick McCarthy under his wing. NJS attempted to teach McCarthy "the tools of the trade" in a series of matches where NJS would rough-up the up-and-comer until The Assassin would make the save. At Dangerously Serious 2009 in front of 90,000 fans, NJS defeated the Assassin in a match widely hailed as "Match of the Decade II", a nod to the Assassin's match with Mr. BIG at the same venue (The Bridgend Dome) two years earlier. The duo's rematch the following month was yet another classic and one prominent wrestling critic described the Falls Count Anywhere match as "the best display of hardcore wrestling you will ever see".
  +
  +
At the beginning of 2010, NJS began exhibiting strange behaviour, especially around his manager and girlfriend, Lucy Rose. At the Reality Check pay-per-view in January 2010, after Lucy's victory in a TWF Women's Championship match, NJS proposed to his girlfriend, an offer she immediately accepted. After that, NJS concentrated his efforts on the wedding, which became a hot topic in the TWF, especially surrounding the status of the best man, which many expected would be offered to Mr. BIG. However, signs pointed towards this honour being bestowed upon someone else. NJS made one wrestling appearance of note in early-2010, helping his returning friend The Bandit attack Blade and Mastermind at the conclusion of a TWF World Championship match at Deadly MindGames, which angered fans immensely. Plans for the wedding then became the priority, with an elaborate ceremony planned for No Way BacK. In a move that many feel will come back to haunt him, Justin Polaris was chosen above Mr. BIG to be the best man, inciting a new found hatred from fans. Fortunately, Mr. BIG was not present at the ceremony after sustaining an ankle injury the week before at the hands of Entourage members Disturbed and Zero, although his name was chanted loudly by the crowd at one point during the wedding service. As the bride, groom, best man and bridesmaids posed next to a giant wedding cake at the conclusion of the ceremony, JT Money burst out of the wedding cake, making his TWF return, attacking Polaris and NJS and aligning himself against his best friend, the Bandit. NJS would take a break from the TWF after the wedding ceremony to have his honeymoon.
  +
  +
NJS made his return to the ring on the May 26 edition of Grit BasH, facing off against Tobias Granville in a First Round match of the Gold Card Tournament. NJS advanced to the finals of the tournament at Against All Odds where he would face The Assassin once more and the two had yet another highly acclaimed match which saw NJS leave victorious. As the holder of the Gold Card, NJS could exchange it for a World Championship anytime before the end of 2010. After Marz had defeated Justin Polaris in a Pyramid Cage match in the main event of the show, NJS appeared to announce to Marz he was taking his Title match immediately, and eventually NJS forced Marz to submit to the Laws of NJS and become a Four-Time TWF World Champion. As it would transpire, this was Marz's last match in a TWF ring (due to his self-imposed retirement) and NJS has begun calling himself "The Real God of War" as a result. NJS would not defend his championship again until Summer Break XI thanks to the Entourage and their protection of their associate. The Entourage conspired to not get JT Money a shot at the World Championship but it was NJS's appearance at ringside during the #1 Contender's match at Total Chaos that forced Justin Polaris and Nytro to be distracted and get Money to pick up the victory. The two wrestlers contested a technical classic at Summer Break XI with NJS gaining what was widely regarded as a shock victory over Money. This only served to inflate NJS's ego further, as he claimed after beating two legends in their final matches (Money left the TWF after Summer Break XI), he could legitimately claim to be the Greatest of All Time (or as Tobias Granville referred to him, The GOAT). Despite starting in the House of Pain match at Doomsday, NJS again managed to get to the top of the cage and won the match, becoming the first man to win 3 House of Pain matches in history, a credential he claimed that furthered his claim to be the very best professional wrestler in history.
  +
  +
However, as time went on, NJS began to find the Entourage as more of a hindrance than a help, as their involvement in matches would only serve NJS bad rather than good. Tobias Granville, who won a #1 Contenders match of the losing House of Pain participants, stepped up and challenged the champion about his involvement with the Entourage in the lead up to their match at Halloween Hell. Granville was unsuccessful in taking away the championship from NJS at the event, but gave the champion's pride one hell of a knock as he ran him very close in an exciting encounter. NJS's Entourage associate, Alexis Polaris, was injured by Mastermind at Halloween Hell, leading Mr. BIG's match-making power to be reinstated for a short time, and he set-up a #1 contenders match that saw The Shott win the chance to take on NJS at Dangerously Serious. Without Alexis to guide them, the Entourage became a total mess which NJS tried to get fixed, using his own leadership skills from the successful Rebels with Attitude days. However, Biggie had a surprise for both NJS and Shott for their match at Dangerously Serious - a special guest referee, which ended up being Marz. With both men unsure as to whom Marz would favour due to their fiery history between them, the match was a classic, but The Shott eventually prevailed. Mr. BIG came down to the ring to salute the new champion along with his former tag-team partner, but the most telling shot of all was NJS, standing with Lucy Rose two paces behind him at the top of the ramp, watching on proceedings in the ring and being caught on camera saying "That could be me. That should be me."

Seeing the success that his former allies were having led NJS to question his association with the Entourage. NJS formed a part of their team for the third Devil's Den match against a team lead by Mastermind and The Assassin. NJS showed he was a team player in the match, eliminating three members of the Dangerous Alliance team in lightning quick precision. However, it was at that moment, words that Mr. BIG told NJS before the match began (their conversation was the first time they were shown together on-screen since May 2005) "Putting yourself first got you into this mess (referring to turning on Deadman in 2008)...and it's the only thing that will get you out of it". As Alexis Polaris commanded NJS on, he shocked the crowd, and the Entourage by hitting Justin Polaris and Nytro with N-Factor and leaving the cage, "surrendering" himself from the match. NJS and Lucy Rose walked out of the arena, and on the Entourage, to huge cheers.

In emerged in the early part of 2011 that NJS had a legitimate dispute with members of TWF management over the decisions made after The Shott announced he was leaving the company after he won the TWF World Championship, as a result of pressure from his family. Angry that he was not considered in the plan of action, NJS informed the TWF that he too wanted to be done with the company and management was not pleased. NJS took time away from wrestling and concentrated on spending time with his wife as well as other responsibilities. When Mr. BIG teased that he would have a tag-team partner for a match at No Way BacK in March 2011, it was widely speculated that it would be the return of Marz to the TWF. But, Mr. BIG kept his plan secret and at the event, in front of nearly 100,000 fans, Mr. BIG and NJS, the team fondly remembered as the Z-Pack, teamed up in the TWF for the first time in just under six years. NJS looked in great shape and hit Mike Haggar with the N-Factor to pick up the victory for his team. After the match, Marz, Mr. BIG and NJS shared the ring, together, for the first time in the company's history and celebrated the Z-Pack's victory with a Cherry Coke celebration. After the match, speculation emerged that NJS considered the match his "swan song" and that he considered himself "retired".

Personal life
  +
NJS is the eldest of four children. His father, Mr. Job-Smith, was the Chairman and Owner of Xtreme Championship Wrestling. His two sisters are not involved with wrestling, but his brother is best known as Deadman, a former TWF World Champion. He was childhood friends with much of the TWF and XCW rosters, including Mr. BIG, with whom he has been best friends for almost twenty years.
  +
  +
NJS has been married two times. His first marriage was to Amy Dumas, better known as Lita whom he wedded on May 22, 2004 in a ceremony in Orlando, Florida where Mr. BIG was the best man. In April 2005, the two separated and divorced over the news that Dumas had been dating WWE wrestler Edge and that the baby she told NJS she was carrying was in fact Edge's child. NJS then dated his manager Louise for a year, but the two separated. His second marriage was to Lucy Rose, his manager who he began dating in April 2008. They were married in New York City whilst the TWF was on tour in the city on March 6, 2010. Several former TWF wrestlers were present for the ceremony, including his brother Deadman (who served as best man), the Terminator, the Fox and Jon Bennetta.
  +
  +
He currently spends most of his time at a home in Swansea, which he bought in 2007. The house in Bridgend that NJS admits was his first big purchase after his first major TWF paycheck was paid was sold in February 2010. For a time in the mid-2000s, NJS maintained a property in Cameron, North Carolina, but it was sold off shortly after his divorce. In July 2009, NJS announced he had signed a deal with Grand Central Publishing to write his autobiography. Entitled Breaking All the Laws, the book was released in May 2010 to favourable reviews.

Career

First TWF Run (2000-2001)

Third TWF Run (2008-2011)

1. ^ NJS's first reign was as part of the Future Generation-X stable, who made their defences under the Freebird rule. The official TWF handbook recognises NJS as being part of this reign, but does not include it in his combined reign totals.

Personal life

NJS is the eldest of four children. His father, Mr. Job-Smith, was the Chairman and Owner of Xtreme Championship Wrestling. His two sisters are not involved with wrestling, but his brother is best known as Deadman, a former TWF World Champion. He was childhood friends with much of the TWF and XCW rosters, including Mr. BIG, with whom he has been best friends for almost twenty years.
