Marilyn Denn (born April 17, 1987), is a retired American female professional wrestler best known for her time with World Wrestling Championship Federation (WWCF) where she competed under the alias Mordea Duvin.
Wrestling career[]
World Wrestling Championship Federation[]
Denn was originally signed to be a part of the up-and-coming NXT generation federation but before having her first match with the now defunct company, Mordea was contacted by WWCF officials after they witnessed some of her early work, hiring the young woman to a contract in early July of 2010.
Marilyn made her in ring debut on August 12th, two weeks after appearing on WWCF Pulse for the first time, defeating fellow diva Bitsy Mae Harling in an easy contest and just three days later competed in a 14 diva tag team match at Summerbash. After eliminating two women from the contest back to back and looking as if she was going to dominate the entire contest, Denn was eliminated by Karen Mac following a surprise cutter that caught her off guard. After the pinfall loss some media caught up with Marilyn who declared that she found the contest intriguing and said that she has something in store not just for the woman who eliminated her but also for eventual winner Sheena Montgomery.
After making a few appearances here and there on WWCF shows, Mordea returned to Pulse, decimating Starr Jackson in singles competition after it was announced that both women would be taking part in a 16 Diva Masked Battle Royal to determine the new number one contender for the WWCF Women's Championship. Duvin made it to the final five in the battle royal before being eliminated by Jamie Iglesias and following her elimination, Mordea brutally assaulted Jamie, taking her out of the match and injuring the young woman. After the battle royal, a tournament to determine the first WWCF Women's Tag Team Champions was announced. Mordea was announced as part of this tournament alongside her partner and associate Samantha Brooks. The tandem easily disposed of the competition throughout the tournament but fell just short in the finals which took place at WWCF Revenge. Shortly after this match, Denn parted ways with the WWCF and retired due to a neck injury.
Personal life[]
Denn is the oldest of three children, but not much else is known about her family, as she keeps her personal life details private. However, despite her private nature, Marilyn is known to be longtime friends with Analicia Morales, the two having originally met in 2009. Denn also occasionally comes by Analicia's wrestling school, Invicta Wrestling Academy, to help teach the students.
