Minnesota Championship Wrestling (MCW), American Wrestling Association (AWA) in 1991 with the bankruptcy of the company is an established. The company's owner, Frank Reed, president Stanley Blackburn in the story. AWA weekly shows and monthly PPV shows the company carries the same name as the show. In 1991, only the logo and the company name has been changed. Despite the name change, the history of the belt with AWA World Heavyweight title is held.

Early Years (1991-1993)[]
