Marcus Marcussen (born October 29 1990) is an English Professional Wrestler from Bolton England.

He most recently worked for ALPHA Wrestling. Marcus began his career in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), winning the Intercontinental Championship. He then moved to Motor City Wrestling (MCW) and during his time there won three Tag Team Championships and two TV Titles, making him the joint most decorated Superstars there in terms of Titles won. Following the closure of MCW he moved to Ass Kicking Wrestling (AKW) and won the International title and also the first World Championship of his Career the AKW World Heavyweight Championship. Following that he moved to FWA. He had multiple shots for the world title but was never able to win it. He then had a short stint in WPW and won their world title. He then went to Australian company DUW as the manager of young Glen Cody, before coming out of his short break from the ring to win their World Title. He won Tag Titles and Mid-card titles in SupremePRO wrestling, as well as mid-card and tag championships in ALPHA Wrestling.

In total, Marcus has won three World Championships, six Tag Team Championships, and seven Mid-card Championships.

Wrestling Career

World Wrestling Entertainment (2010)

After spending a few years training in FCW, Marcus was eventually raised to the full roster, being put onto Raw in April 2010. He would make his debut shortly afterwards, losing to World Heavyweight Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin. After a few weeks of inactivity, Marcus would be put into a number one contenders match with one of his close friends from his time in FCW and the Intercontinental Champion at the time, David Evans. Marcus would win the match despite Evans SES leader, CM Punk being at ringside. Marcus would then go onto win the Intercontinental Championship from David Evans at the No Mercy PPV in a Ladder match and was scheduled to defend the Championship against Evans again, but before that match up happened, Marcus was approached by one of MCW's talent scouts and offered a chance to join the soon to be new company, which Marcus accepted, therefore leaving WWE and vacating the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Motor City Wrestling (2010 - 2012)

Debut, Tag Team with Dynamite and MCW Tag Team Champion (2010-2011)

Marcus made his debut against former World Champion, James Mackay and was defeated after coming very close to winning. His first win would come a few weeks later, alongside makeshift tag team partner and fellow Englishman, Dynamite at the Revolution PPV winning the MCW Tag Team Championships from the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. Their first successful Title defence was against the team of Alex Brown and Evan Wilde, on an episode of Motorstorm shortly after the PPV. Marcus and Dynamite would go on to successfully defend the Championships against various different tag teams, including the likes of The Nexus, The Straight Edge Society, The Showstealers, Lethal Consequences and The End of Remorse on various episodes of Adrenaline, Motorstorm and PPV.

Marcus and Dynamite's reign as Tag Team Champions ended at the end of November, losing the Championship to the team of Matt Saint and Keenan Brooke, collectively known as The End of Remorse. Only a few days earlier, Dynamite had been attacked in the parking lot by The End of Remorse who were trying to soften the Champions up for their Championship defence on the 29th November edition of Motorstorm. Marcus attempted to postpone the match to a later date, but general manager Avram Shalom wouldn't allow it, saying it would cost a lot of money to pull the match from the card. Marcus was then denied the request of having John Bryan, Marcus and Dynamite's ally in a newly formed alliance known as "The Triangle" replace Dynamite in the match up but this was also denied. Marcus was then informed that the match would go ahead as planned and that if Dynamite didn't turn up to the Title defence, Marcus and Dynamite would vacate the Championships, Dynamite turned up to the match, but the injuries got the better him and Marcus and Dynamite were defeated, ending their 5 month reign as Tag Team Champions.

Seven days later, Marcus and Dynamite would invoke their rematch clause against the new Champions and would defeat The End of Remorse in a no holds barred match, beginning their second reign as Tag Team Champions. Their first title defence was against the team of Booker T and Goldust, before going on to defeat Psycho Cyanide at the January PPV, AfterLife. After this Title defence, Dynamite would challenge his fellow Tag Team Champion to a match at the February PPV, NeverLost with the stipulation being that both Superstars undefeated streak on PPV's would be on the line, Marcus was 8-0 in PPV's including appearances in both WWE and MCW whilst Dynamite was 7-0. Marcus would go on to lose to his fellow Tag Team Champion at NeverLost, ending his undefeated streak and extending Dynamite's to 8-0.

Heel Turn and Feud with Dynamite (2011)

After a few more wins with Dynamite and a rivalry with The Spectres with both team trading wins and Dynamite accidentally hitting Marcus with a Sidekick after a win against The Spectres, which Dynamite apologised for, Marcus would accept this apology but only after hitting Dynamite with a Marcus Bomb as revenge for the Super kick. After weeks of feuding with The Spectres, Marcus was injured by The Spectres keeping him out of action for a few weeks. Marcus and Dynamite were booked to defend their Championships at the April PPV, McwMania against The Spectres and appeared to have the match won. Suddenly, Marcus would turn on Dynamite, hitting him with the Marcus Bomb and dragging the knocked out body of Michael Irvine onto the now knocked out Dynamite before leaving the ring. The referee would count to three, giving the Spectres the win, the Tag Team Championships and also ending Dynamite's undefeated streak in the process. Dynamite would go on to invoke the rematch clause for the Championships for the following episode of Motorstorm. Dynamite gave Marcus the option of either showing up and regaining the Championships, or not showing up and dissolving their Tag Team. Marcus chose not to show up and Dynamite was defeated in a handicap match by the new Tag Team Championships.

After being attacked by Dynamite the week after that after a win against Tyler Black, Marcus would debut a new associate after a win against The Miz, Ezekiel Jackson as a bodyguard against Dynamite and his new Tag Team Partner, John Morrison. Marcus would proclaim himself as the Shawn Michaels of Marcus and Dynamite stating that Dynamite was the Marty Jannety. Marcus would go on to win various Tag Team match alongside Jackson and was scheduled to face Dynamite at the May PPV, EndGame. This was eventually changed to a tag team match with Marcus partnering with Jackson and Dynamite partnering with Morrison and changed once again to a Last Men Standing Match a few days before the event. At the PPV, Marcus and Ezekiel Jackson would lose to Dynamite and John Morrison.

Marcus would blame Jackson for the loss and challenged Dynamite one last time to a Steel Cage match to ensure their was no interferences from John Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson or any other Superstar on the MCW roster. Dynamite accepted, scheduling the match for the Adrenaline the following week. The Motorstorm before Adrenaline, Ezekiel Jackson was defeated by James Hanson despite Marcus' attempts to cause a Jackson win. Marcus would walk off leaving Jackson in the ring before instructing him to not get involved in Marcus' Steel Cage match with Dynamite. Four days later. Jackson would go against Marcus words though as he would run down the entrance ramp, rip the Cage door open and hand a Lead Pipe to Marcus. Marcus would accept the pipe, but rather than strike Dynamite with it Marcus would suddenly turn around and use it on Jackson, before pushing Jackson out through the door and throwing the Lead Pipe out with him. This distraction was enough for Dynamite to recover from the brutal match up and he surprised Marcus hitting him with his own Marcus Bomb finishing move. Dynamite would get the pin and win the match. After the match, Marcus would lift Dynamite's arm and congratulate him on the victory by shaking his hand, thus turning Marcus face once again and ending his feud with Dynamite.

Singles Competition, Television Champion and feud with Paul Burchill(2011)

After Marcus' loss to Dynamite, Ezekiel Jackson would call out Marcus, questioning him about Marcus actions in the Steel Cage, Marcus would explain that he wanted to win against Dynamite by himself and Jackson went against it, Jackson wasn't happy with this explanation and challenged Marcus to a match, which Marcus accepted. Marcus would go onto defeat Jackson and would then fire him as his bodyguard.

After that, Marcus joined the MCW Television Championship Title hunt and would defeat Amazing Red in a Number one Contenders match. Marcus would go on to lose against the Champion, Tremaine Matthews at the June PPV, Meltdown. Marcus would be granted another shot at his Championship, but before the match could happen, Matthews was injured at a house show so he was forced to vacate the Championship. Marcus would go on to win the Vacant Championship at the Revolution PPV in a Championship Scramble match, defeating the then interim Champion, Captain Righteous with only seven seconds remaining on the clock. Marcus would then enter a feud with Gabriel Gospel who was named number one contender for Marcus' Championship after defeating The Scorpion in a number one contenders match. Mr Anderson would go on to declare his interest in the TV Title and Marcus would lose consecutive matches to Gospel and Anderson before winning in Tag Team action against said opponents. A win against Scorpion and Goth Girl alongside Angelina Love would follow but at the Global Warming PPV, Marcus was unable to defend his Championship, losing it in a fatal four way match to Mr Anderson, which also involved The Scorpion and Gabriel Gospel. Marcus would use his rematch clause for the Championship 5 days later at Motorstorm, but was defeated by the Champion, Mr Anderson. After the match, Marcus was attacked by the debuting Paul Burchill.

After being attacked by the debuting Paul Burchill after his rematch with Anderson, Marcus wanted answers. He would call out Burchill the following week demanding an explanation. Burchill explained that he saw Marcus as a disgrace to the country of England and that he would personally eradicate Marcus from Professional Wrestling and would save the now apparent tarnished English pride. Before Marcus could respond to these accusations though, he was attacked once again by Burchill. Over the next few weeks, Marcus would compete in various Tag Team matches with a mix of different partners, the most notable being teaming for the first time since April with his former Tag Team Champion, Dynamite. Marcus was victorious in all of these Tag matches bar one, which was a loss against Jayson Addair and the returning James Hanson. Paul Burchill was one of the opponents in all of the tag matches expect for the Addair/Hanson loss. Burchill would explain each of these losses by stating that his Tag Team partners let him down and that he doesn't need a partner to eradicate The Boltonian. Shortly after, Burchill would host a fake coronation, with a fake Queen Elizabeth II "knighting" him, Marcus would take exception to this and would cash the party, this annoyed Burchill and he would challenge Marcus to a match at the 2011 Testament PPV, which would be held in London England, and Marcus accepted. The week later a contract signing was held where the match up between Burchill and Marcus was changed to the first ever "London Dungeon" match, which was essentially a strap match, but with a 10 foot chain as both Superstars felt that a simple one on one match wouldn't suffice. Marcus would go on to defeat Burchill at the Testament PPV by forcing him to tap out after Marcus choked him with the chain from a position that was impossible for Burchill too escape.

A Battle Royal for number one contendership for the World Championship would then take place and Marcus would go on to eliminate Burchill. But after Burchill's elimination, Burchill grabbed Marcus' legs, which stopped him from moving and Marcus was then eliminated from the match up by Burchill's new apprentice, Randy Kinglsey. The feud was then subsequently dropped and as a result, Marcus missed a PPV event, Trick or Tap 2011, for the first time in his wrestling career.

Second reign as TV Champion, Third Tag Title reign and feud with Tyler Morgan (2011-2012)

After two months of sporadic appearances, Marcus was placed into a triple threat match for the MCW Television Championship on the special Halloween episode of Adrenaline, against the defending Champion, Gabriel Gospel and Tyler Morgan. After a back and forth match, The Boltonian pinned Morgan to become Television Champion for the second time in his career. In his first Title defence at Fall Fury 2011, Marcus faced Edger Von Durer. The match ended in a draw after both competitors where knocked unconscious after a Spear through a barricade and couldn't answer the ten count. Since the match was a draw, it meant that Marcus remained as Champion. Marcus was meant to defend his Championship against Tyler Morgan at the Wreck the Hall PPV in December, but shortly before the PPV Morgan was injured meaning that there would be no TV Title match at the PPV. He did however appear at the PPV as he gave away merchandise dressed as Santa to the crowd in attendance. The next PPV, Afterlife saw Marcus defend his Championship against a returning Tyler Morgan, however Marcus lost his Championship to Morgan. Marcus used his rematch clause on the next episode of Motorstorm but once again came up short after Morgan poked Marcus' eye. Marcus complained about this to Avarmn shalom and asked to be inserted into the Tyler Morgan vs Ian Roberts match at NeverLost. This was denied though. However, he was offered the chance to face the winner at McwMania 2 which Marcus accepted. Morgan won the match at NeverLost by countout and as he had screwed Roberts' chance at becoming Champion, he was also inserted into the McwMania match making it a Triple threat match. At the PPV Marcus was defeated as Morgan pinned Marcus to walk out as Champion. Marcus received another shot at the Title on the next episode of Motorstorm but when Marcus appeared to have the match won, Jason Hunter attacked Morgan at ringside causing Marcus to win via Count out, which meant Morgan remained Champion. After this various Superstars including Dynamite, Jason Hunter, Mr Anderson, John Morrison and Chase Matthews all made an interest in the Championship. Marcus faced different varieties of them although he ended up losing each time meaning he was the least likely to get another shot at the TV Title.

Marcus was then announced as one of four participants in a tournament to decide the new Atlantic Champion after it was vacated by Jayson Addair. Marcus however lost to Adam Valentine after Valentine attacked Marcus with a chair to win the match after the Referee was down. Marcus complained about this to Avram Shalom saying it was unfair, Shalom agreed given Marcus one last chance to qualify for the match up at EndGame. He faced Christian, the man Chris Jericho beat in their qualifying match and Marcus came out victorious making the match a Triple Threat match involving Marcus, Jericho and Valentine. The following week Marcus beat Jericho although this was coupled with a loss to Jericho a week later. Valentine quit the company the week later meaning it would be a singles match at EndGame. At EndGame Marcus was defeated by Jericho meaning Jericho became Atlantic Champion.

In June Marcus would win consecutive matches against Empire members Ian Roberts and Jonny Perez, albiet the win over Perez was controversial as James Hanson made his return attacking Perez and giving Marcus the win. Marcus would then team with Hanson to defeat the team of Tyler Morgan and Lex Ludlow. At the Meltdown PPV, Marcus was involved in a 6 man battle royal for the TV Championship although he was not victorious as The Miz was crowned the new Champion. Later on in the Night Marcus and Hanson would attacked Prestigious who had just won the Tag Team Championships from The Empire signifying they had decided to become a Tag Team and would be after the Championships. On the two year Anniversary show of MCW on June 21 2012 Marcus teamed with new partner James Hanson, old partner Dynamite and former Triangle stable mate John Bryan to defeat the Tag Champions Prestigious, Ernie Osiris and Shawn Hunter. However a week later Hanson broke his arm at a House show when in tag team action alongside Marcus, dissolving the team. Marcus and Hanson were scheduled to face the Suzuki Syndicate, the number one contenders for the Tag Titles but after Hanson was ruled out, Dynamite was announced as the replacement. Before the match up however Marcus was attacked by an unknown assailant, later revealed to be Shawn Hunter, and was pulled put of the match. Marcus was replaced by Hunter himself in the match up who came down to the ring with a Lead Pipe, the weapon that was near the unconscious Marcus earlier. Dynamite won what was effectively a 3-1 handicap match. Marcus would then go on to lose to Hunter on Motorstorm. After the match Hunter busted Marcus open by nailing him over the head with a Steel chair. Marcus would challenge Hunter to a No Holds Barred match to get revenge, which Hunter accepted. Marcus would then defeat Hunter in the No Holds Barred match in which Dynamite was the Special guest referee, getting his revenge. Marcus would team with Tyler Morgan in a Number One Contender's match against the Suzuki Syndicate coming out with a win. They would go on to win the Championships at the Revolution PPV giving Marcus his third Tag Team title reign. They successfully defended the Titles against Prestigious on the next episode of Motorstorm. After the match they where attacked by Storm Parker and Johnny King. On the August 2ns episode of Motorstorm Marcus was just about to defeat Aaron Starr when Tyler Morgan would cause a DQ by attacking Starr who had been mocking Morgan throughout the match. Marcus unquestionably annoyed to have lost the match by DQ questioned Morgan's actions but instead of offering an answer he (Morgan) would attack his fellow Champion before leaving the ring with Marcus on the floor. More losses caused by Tyler Morgan would follow. At the August PPV, Global Warning, Marcus and Morgan would face both Starr and Smiley (Prestigious) and Parker and King (Rockin Rollers) but during the match Morgan refused to co-operate with Marcus and would leave Marcus to fight on his own. Later in the match he would attack Marcus with a Chair which caused Parker and King to get the win and the Tag Titles. After the match finished, Morgan continued attacking Marcus with the Chair, signalling the end of their partnership.

The first episode of Motorstorm afterwards, Marcus would do a promo seeking vengeance on Morgan from his house as he was recovering. During the promo however Morgan would break into Marcus' house and a brawl would ensue. Multiple interferences and brawls between the men would happen over the coming weeks, usually with Morgan coming out on top. Marcus, annoyed by this then got a restraining order out onto Morgan which would last until September 16th, the day of Testament and Marcus challenged Morgan to a No DQ match at said PPV. Morgan accepted. At the PPV, Marcus came out on top, getting the win over Morgan after enduring multiple weapon shots, being busted open by a Cheese Grater and only just managed to avoid being run over by a Monster Truck. Marcus won by Spearing Morgan though a Table from the Top of the Truck and then celebrated his win on top of the Truck.

Pursuit of the World Title, End of MCW (2012)

After beating Tyler Morgan, Marcus announced his intentions to join the Atlantic Title division. He would then team with Cody Rhodes to defeat Ian Roberts and Aaron Starr. The new World Heavyweight Champion and Marcus former Tag Team partner Dynamite would state in a promo that he wanted his first Title defence to be against his former partner Marcus. This would anger number one contenders Daniel Bryan and Gabriel Gospel as they felt they should get the shot first. A few days later, Marcus would team with Atlantic Champion against Daniel Bryan and World Champion Dynamite. Gospel was originally suppose to be Bryans partner, but he refused to compete and was replaced by Dynamite. Marcus won the match for his team by pinning Dynamite after a Spear whilst he was arguing with Daniel Bryan. Management decided not to give Marcus this match that Dynamite wanted, which Gospel and Bryan were ecstatic about. On the next show, Marcus faced Daniel Bryan, again in the main event, where he was defeated by Bryan. Marcus had the match won but lost after a distraction by Gabriel Gospel. He would then face Gospel on the next show. After a hard fought match, Marcus was in the ascendancy after stopping Gospels finishing move and hitting his own. However, Gospel got out of the ring, slapped Daniel Bryan (who was watching the match from ringside) and that got Bryan to retaliate and attacking Gospel, giving Gospel a win via disqualification. Marcus would then win two Tag team main event matches, Marcus getting the wining fall for both. The first teaming with Dynamite against Gospel and Bryan, the second teaming with Dynamite and Mike Stokes against Gospel, Bryan and Calvin Rodgers. Marcus then got a pin fall victory over World Champion Dynamite on the next show. Despite these wins, Marcus did not get a World Title match at Trick or Tap and didnt even get a match at the PPV itself. After Trick or Tap finished, MCW the company was closed done which meant all the Superstars were made free agents. His last match was a win against his former long term Tag Champion Dynamite.

Ass Kicking Wrestling (2012-2013)

Marcus signed for AKW on November 7th. His first match for the company was four days later on their weekly show called Saturday Night Showdown. He was in a Battle Royal against Daniel Bryan, Jack Andrews and Onyx Spade, competing for the AKW International Championship. Marcus eliminated two of his three opponents and went on to win the match and the Championship. In his first Title Defence at the Broken Dreams PPV, Marcus lost to Jack Andrews in a Tables Match and thus lost the Title. He beat Axel Martin the following week which was followed by a win over the World Champion Daniel Bessell a week later. Marcus again beat Bessell a week after that, this time teaming with Jamal James against Bessell and Jack Andrews. At the PPV, Marcus faced Bessell for the World Title in a Hell in a Cell match. Marcus lost after Christopher Daniels and David Evans interfered, attacked Bessell and Marcus and Bessell managed to use the distractions to win with a roll up. A few weeks later, Bessell lost the Title to Shane Dyer after being given a Shot by the Assistant GM after losing a match to Marcus. Neeson, the real GM stripped Dryer of the Title after being annoyed by his assitant GM for giving Dyer a Title shot for no reason. At the next PPV, Marcus beat Kazarian for the vacant World Title. This was his first ever World Title. He was originally suppose to be facing Christopher Daniels but he was attacked before the match. The following Week, Marcus lost to Jamal James. Marcus attempted to rectify this a week later, but as Marcus was about to beat Jamal, Alyx Haze and Shane Dyer Interfered attacking both Superstars making it a Double DQ. James and Marcus would get revenge the following Week by defeating them in Tag Team Action. Dyer would then defeat Marcus and James in Triple Threat Action which would be followed with another win for Dyer in a Triple That - vs. Marcus and James - but this time it was for the World Title. After losing the World Title, Marcus followed it up with two wins, but he never got to use his rematch clause as the Company closed shortly after.

FWA (2013)

Marcus signed for FWA in March 2013. His debut came on March 29 as he defeated Corey Graves to qualify for the World Title Six Pack Challenge. He was suppose to be facing Christopher Daniels - the Man he was suppose to be facing for the AKW World Title a few moths before - but Daniels pulled out with a finger injury. After the match Daniels attacked Marcus but Marcus Speared him and won that confrontation. A few days later Marcus faced Handsome Eric. Marcus had the match won multiple times but continuous distractions to the Referee from Erics Manager, Dean Osbert and also Daniels and Kazarian who were on Commentary eventually cost Marcus the match. Marcus was set to be Six Man Tag Action the next week but at the beginning of that Show, Marcus was attacked by Kaz and Daniels and that ruled him out of not only the Match later that evening but also from being able to participate in the PPV World Title match two days later. Marcus managed to convince management to give him a Match against Kazarian at the PPV but to get it he had to agree that if his injuries got any worse as a result of the match, his contract would be nullified and he would no longer be an employee. At the PPV, Marcus beat Kazarian. He then beat Kazarian on the next Show. The following week, Daniels challenged Marcus to a Ladder match which would have a contract above the Ring. The loser, having their contract terminated. Later in the night, he cost Marcus his match against old rival Paul Burchill. A another loss followed against Jimmy Dice. At the PPV, Health Crisis, Marcus beat Daniels after low blowing him and then Marcus Bombing him off a Ladder to fire Daniels from the Company.

Five days after the PPV, Marcus faced Handsome Eric for the World Championship, getting the Title shot he earned two months earlier. Marcus knocked Eric out from a Spear but before he could pin, Team Victory got involved, attacked Marcus and put the knocked out Eric onto him, getting Eric the three count. Afterwards they attempted to triple team Marcus, but Daniel Bryan came out to help Marcus with the three running before he could do damage. Marcus would return the favour a few days later, helping Bryan in a three on one situation against the same three people. Later in the show Marcus was double teamed by Team Victory after they cost him his match to Mikey Whiplash. He would lose a match a week later to Jerry Oliver, one half of team victory - now going by the name Qunitessence in a stable alongside Handsome Eric - after his partner get involved. They would also cost Daniel Bryan a match in the tournament to crown a new Global Champion. After Bryan lost to the other member of Team Victory, Robert Gareth, Marcus would attack him from behind with a chair. Quintessence would challenege Marcus and Bryan to a No DQ match, which was accepted. At Storm Night, Marcus and Bryan lost to Oliver and Gareth.

Following this, Marcus faced Eric, the world champion. Like in his title match the match ended via DQ after Quintessence - with new member Zakk Night - attacked Marcus. Shawn Hunter and Sean Davis would help out and Quintessence fled. The three would then defeat Quintessence - sans Gareth- in a six man tag match. Marcus was placed into a tournament to crown the number one contender to the world title. Marcus beat Gabriel Gospel in the semi finals - following a distraction from Jayson Addair and in the final drew to Shawn Hunter. The match was called a no contest and the following weeks would be spent trying to find out who was the number one contender. Eventually, both were named as it. At the PPV, Marcus came up short as Eric pinned him to retain the title after Hunter hit his finisher on Marcus. Eric threw Hunter out of the ring and pinned Marcus. Understandably this annoyed Hunter. Shortly after Hunter and Marcus would team up but they lost after Marcus accidentally speared Hunter during the match. Marcus would apologise to Hunter but Marcus assumed it wasnt accepted when Hunter accidentally hit Marcus after a win against global champion Zakk Night when he was trying to take out Night when he was attacking Marcus. Hunter accidentally hitting Marcus with the world title belt when Marcus was in a match against the champion, Eric didnt help either. Hunter was aiming for Eric. After that he then hit Marcus on purpose, saying it was because Marcus claimed he was working with Night an Eric and the attacks werent an accident. Marcus would then challenge Hunter to a no holds barred match at Summer Slaughter, which Hunter accepted. He would then attacked Marcus, knocking him out with a chair. Marcus would then mock Hunter by pretending to be him in a promo and Hunter retaliated by costing Marcus a match against Night and Kingston in a tag match. Marcus then beat Kingston on the next show. At the PPV, Summer Slaughter, Marcus beat Hunter in the no holds barred match. After this, Marcus won a qualifier match against Spartacus to qualify for the champions scramble match at the next PPV, Limit Infinite. Marcus never got to compete in this however as the company shut down shortly afterwards. His last match there was a win over Zakk Night.

NGBPW, GWNW and WPW (2012-2013)

On December 18th, Marcus signed for NGPBW, a British Company. That would mean he would be in two Companies, AKW and NGPBW. In his debut on the Show in late December, Marcus beat Wyatt Parker. He followed this up with two more wins and a loss before the Company closed.

Marcus signed for Canadian Company GWNW in March 2013. His debut would come on March 14, beating Handsome Eric in a Steel Cage Match. The winner of this match would place as the last entrant in a Battle Royal for the World Title, the loser would come in first. As Marcus won, he entered last. Despite this he was unable to win the match as he was eliminated by Matt Morgan - who wasnt a participant in the match - and the match was eventually won by Handsome Eric. He then became number one contender for the Ontario Province Title but then the Company closed.

Following the closure of FWA in late August 2013, Marcus signed for WPW. His debut came shortly afterwards with Marcus defeating George Eden by disqualification as a result of Eden low blowing Marcus. After wards he continued to attack Marcus which was stopped by Calvin Rodgers as he intervened to stop Eden. Rodgers had been on commentary for the match. Marcus would get a rematch on the following show against Eden, this time with Rodgers as the referee. During the match, Rodgers was laid out by Eden and replaced by a second ref. When Rodgers got up he attacked Eden as revenge which got Marcus disqualified. Marcus would get revenge on Eden by costing Eden a match against Rodgers and shortly afterwards Marcus would beat Rodgers himself. At WPWs first PPV, Absolution, Marcus defeated Eden and Rodgers, with Marcus pinning Rodgers, to win his second world championship. The company then closed.

DUW (2013-2014)

Following the closure of WPW, Marcus went to Down Under Wrestling. An Australian company but not as a wrestler. He will be managing Glen Cody. This came about as he chose to go on holiday to Australia and met Cody on the Plane. Following a conversation he agreed to manage Cody who was going to DUW for a try out. After passing he wanted Marcus to manage him. Marcus was on holiday any way so thought he may as well. On Codys debut he beat the Ruthless Villains Society alongside Raze Lewis with Marcus at ring side. When Wade Barrett did an open challenge, Marcus took that challenge. Just as he was going to win, Ezekiel Jackson - Marcus former bodyguard - got involved and caused the match to be a no contest. Marcus would face Zeke shortly afterwards, he lost when in the torture rack and despite not submitting, the referee claimed he was unable to continue the match up. This was controversial however as Barrett had knocked him out with the referee distracted from multiple superstars getting involved. Marcus was announced as one of the competitors - along with Glen - in a trick or treat battle royal at the Halloween Hell PPV. There were multiple briefcases in the match and if someone got one, they would get either a trick or a treat. Marcus got one of them and his briefcase allowed him to choose anyone to be his opponent in a steel cage match. After a few weeks, Marcus would choose former FWA rival, Handsome Eric was also happened to be a manager in DUW. Eric would refuse and management counted this as a breach of contract and suspended him from DUW. This counted as using the briefcase so to make up for it, management gave him - as well as Glen Cody - entry into the steel cage tag team title match. Marcus would defeat members of the other teams in a fatal four way match to gain the last entrant slot in the cage match but that wasnt enough as he was eliminated by Ezekiel Jackson, who went on to win the match and the titles alongside Ted Dibiasie. On the next show, Marcus defeated former rival Mikey Whiplash in a Lumberjill match, gaining revenge for the loss in FWA and he was also defending the honour of the women of DUW as Whiplash had hit women multiple times in DUW and also wanted to fight them in FWA. This was Whiplashs last match in DUW as he was fired. This was already announced before the match up. In December, the Gold Rush tourney was the focus. The winner would become number one contender to the world title. Marcus won a battle royal at the Gold Rush PPV, getting the last spot in the QF. Later that night, in the Quarter Final, he drew to Calvin Rodgers (double countout), so both were put through. In the semi final, he lost to Rodgers as Rodgers pinned fellow semi finalist Jay Bentley in a triple threat match. Rodgers went on to win the tourney. Cody was also in the tourney but went out at the QF stage to Wade Barrett. Following this, both were involved in a beat the clock challenge to name a new number one contender to the world title. Glen beat Darius Slays time and Marcus was unable to beat Glens time against Barrett, meaning Glen became NOC. After the match due to the match ended as a time limit draw, an Iron Man match was made between Marcus and Barrett for the next PPV. A week before, Marcus beat world champion Raze in a non title match. Marcus PPV match ended up being changed to a number one contender match but ended up being changed again when Barrett was fired. Marcus would instead face Aj Styles, with Olsson, the GM of Marcus brand, promising to reward him if Marcus won. Marcus beat Styles at the PPV. At the same event, Cody lost to Raze for the title. The reward was a world title match at the next PPV. Raze would win the beat the clock challenge, beating Marcus time by a few seconds and go to choose the match type. He would choose a Hell in a Cell match. At the PPV, Marcus would defeat Raze to win the title.

Return to WWE, SCW, SupremePRO (2014-2016)

Following this, the company died so Marcus accepted an offer to WWE, the company he started his career. His debut came on March 25th, defeating Heath Slater in the first match of a tournament to crown the WWE Champion. He then defeated Taylor Halloway and Daniel Bryan in the semi final, qualifying to face Troy Pierce in the final. They would have a pick your poison for the winner to determine the the match stip, with Marcus picking DUW protege, Glen Cody and Pierce picking Bobby Best. Marcus was unable to beat Troy's time, so Troy chose the stip. He chose two out of three falls. At Extreme Rules, Pierce defeated Marcus in the WWE title match, after Marcus got the first fall. HE lost the title match but still ended the 300+ unpinned/submitted streak of Pierece's since his debut.

Marcus then left WWE citing travel and joined SCW. He would lose to Jrygin because of a lowblow, would lose a second time in tag action because of a low blow and would then lose a third time to Jrygin in a fatal four way Transatlantic title match, which also involved Aaron Starr and Martin Pearce. After that, he and len Cody beat the tag team champions, Buzzy Hit House (Owen Young and Jackie Bruce) in a match and then beat Fabulous (Cupid Loving and Romeo) in a number one contenders' match. At Red, white and blood however, Marcus and Cody would lose to the champions, Young and Bruce after a referee got in the way of Marcus' spear, the champions took advantage. Marcus and Cody asked for a rematch but Aussie United (Troy Pierce and Lance Steele said they should move to the back of the line. This lead to a number one contenders match up which ended in a no contest when Young and Bruce interfered. General Manger Avram Shalom announced both as number one contenders. In their triple threat title match however, they were unable to win the gold as Young and Bruce once again retained the titles. Following this, Marcus and Cody lost to Fabulous. After the match, Cody turned on Marcus, spitting in his face and attempting to attack him. Marcus was reverse the situation, knocking him down with a big boot. On the next show, Marcus and Cody were scheduled for a match, the winner getting an SCW title shot and the loser being fired. Marcus beat Cody in said match up, though would lose the world title match in a fatal four way, Zakk Night winning over Marcus, Calvin Rodgers and Jayson Addiar. He would later defeat Jon for a one v one title shot, but the company closed before he could have that match.

Marcus would then join SPW, later rebranded SupremePRO - joining shortly after Glen Cody. Marcus was instantly put into a world title tourney, defeating Adam Silva and Tyler Morgan to reach the final, only to lose to Nicholas Lancer in the final. He would then be involved in a triple threat ladder match for the world title, once again losing to Lancer, Tyler Morgan also involved. After losing a number one contenders match up for the world title, Marcus would move onto the tag team division, teaming up with long time partner, Glen Cody. The duo would feud with Adam Silva and Shane Croft, the tag team champions and would win the tag team titles off of them, then would proceed to succesfully defend them against the duo. After this, SPW was rebranded into SupremePRO and the tag team titles were retired due to lack of competition and rebranded into the SupremePRO Universal Championship, Marcus and Cody to fight in an Iron Man match to determine the champion, Marcus defeating his tag team partner. After defending it against Jacob Cass, Marcus would move into a feud with Aaron Mercer, who would kidnap Glen Cody, holding him hostage for months. Marcus would successful defend the title against Aaron and eventually rescue Aaron's sister in return, though April would just cost Marcus a match and return to her brother anyway. Marcus defeated Aaron a second time who wound up demanding another title shot. Marcus agreed in return for Glen Cody and defeated Aaron in a No Holds Barred match up. Cody wound up being brainwashed and turned on Marcus once again, pledging allegiance to Aaron, so Marcus finished him off. He then moved into a program with Kai Stevens, which saw him defend the Universal Title in a seven person title match, involving Aaron once again, as well as Kai, Aiden Connolly, Romalis Ventura, The Scorpion and Travi Marceau. Kai would then get a one v one title shot and would dethrone Marcus, Kai getting himself disqualified in the rematch. Kai's long time friend and new owner, Brain Church would book the two of them into a Steel Cage match, and if Marcus lost he would not be allowed to fight for the Universal Championship ever again, and unfortunately for Marcus he was unable to regain the title. He then moved into a feud with Tyler Morgan once again, though wound up losing against him on the final SurpemePRO PPV before Church closed it down due to lack of funding.

Alpha Wrestling (2018-2022)

Singles Division and Wrestling Spirit Champion (2018-2019)

After some time on the indies, Marcus moved to Alpha Wrestling. Being an invited guest, Marcus accidentally caused Tyler Morgan to lose a title match for the ALPHA Wrestling Spirit Championship at The Mighty Don't Kneel (2018) when Tyler spotted Marcus in the crowd and began to shit talk him. This lead to them feuding once again, Marcus involving a lot clowns, one of them being Glen Cody is disguise. After a lot of back and forth, Tyler won the match at From the Ashes (2018). Marcus then qualified for a ALPHA World Heavyweight Championship title shot in an Elimination Chamber, dubbed the Termination Chamber, fighting against Tyler Morgan, former rivals in Kai Stevens, Shawn Hunter, Aaron Mercer - now named Aaron Arkham, as well as Drake Young. In the match itself at State of Emergency (2018), Marcus was unable to win, with Kai Stevens winning the match and the World Heavyweight Championship. Marcus was eliminated third, by then champion Aaron Arkham, after Marcus missed a spear through a pod, then was hit with Arkham's finisher off the top rope.

After this, Marcus would insert himself into a Halloween themed Battle Royal, dressed as Scorpion, to determine who would face Scorpion himself in a House of Horrors match, to determine the number one contender to the ALPHA Wrestling Spirit Championship. Marcus proceeded to win the Battle Royal, his disguise coming off halfway through, then after being kidnapped after the match and taken to the House of Horrors, would defeat Scorpion after jumping off the house with a Frog Splash, landing on Scorpion, knocking himself out, it luckily counting as a pin. He would then proceed to win the title against David Boyd at Ghost Nation (2018). His first title defence came at Day of Reckoning (2018), where he faced winner of a Battle Royal - George Anton. In Tokyo, Marcus remained Champion when Anton got himself disqualified when he refused to break a submission hold when Marcus got his foot on the ropes. Going into Ground Zero (2019), Marcus' number one contender was decided through a triple threat, with Jordan Rattler winning. In the build up to the match, Rattler accused Marcus of being boring and stale, and that people were sick of him. This pissed Marcus off, which saw a change of actions in the Spirit Champion. After countless insults from Jordan, Marcus would slap Jordan to "teach him to respect his elders, and those who came before him in the company", and attempt to kick him in the balls, though the second attack was reversed. This shocked the crowd, and at the PPV itself, Marcus began showing even more signs of a new attitude, as in the match, he got out a table, not caring if he got DQed, though this backfired as Rattler instead ended up putting Marcus through said table. Marcus also attempted to leave the match entirely with his title and get counted out. Once that failed, he tried to break the fingers of Jordan, also to no avail. Eventually, Jordan hits both of his finishers, putting the champion down for the count - Rattler winning the title. After the match, Jon Jrygin attacked Rattler, as Marcus was taken to the back to recover. At this point, Marcus was arguably Tweener. The next weeks were spent with both Marcus and Jrygin stating that Rattler didn't deserve to be Champion, with Marcus saying Jon doesn't deserve a title match, and Jon saying Marcus was a hasbeen. This all came to heads Break or Be Broken (2019), where Rattler won a TLC match to remain Champion. After this, Marcus had a string of random matches, losing most of them, including losing to Tyler Morgan in the first round of a Gauntlet Match to determine the number one contender to the World Title, and losing a number one contender's match up against Dante Payne, also for the World title. Marcus would then win a throw-away 6 man tag team match, teaming up with Tyler Morgan and Aaron Taylor, to defeat the team of Shawn Hunter, Scorpion, and Captain Canuck at Ragnarok (2019).

World Tag Team Champion (2019-2020)

A week later, Marcus and Tyler Morgan decided to reform their old tag team, and were instantly involved in a fatal four way number one contender's match up against Captain Canuck and Bobo Sweetcakes, and The Walkers, which ended in a No Contest when the ALPHA World Tag Team Champions, George Anton and Miles Taylor interfered. A week later, Marcus and Morgan faced off against the Champions, and defeated them to become tag team champions. After this, Marcus/Morgan entered three tournaments. The Gauntlet of Glory, the ICW Tag Team Championship tournament, and the All Star Tag Team Classic. The GOG would determine the number one contender for the Alpha World Championship and was a round robin tournament, the winner of two groups fighting to determine the NOC. Both Marcus and Morgan however failed to win the group, as both of them in singles matches ended up with a record of 1 win and 4 defeats, Marcus' win coming against Tyler himself. In the ICW Tag, Marcus and Morgan did well, winning their first two round matches, including beating the Walkers in one minute. Their semi final against the Suplex Sweethearts was a draw, leading to a triple threat tag match at Ascendance (2019), though the SS would pin the GOST to win the titles. In the All Star classic, Marcus and Morgan would reach the semi finals, only to be defeated by the Death Squad after they used three low blows without the referee seeing.

Having gone a month without defending the titles due to these tournaments, Marcus and Morgan would host an open challenge, which saw the original Alpha Tag Champions, the Dark Sanctuary, accept. Marcus and Morgan would defeat the former champions, keeping their titles. At Alpha's biggest show of the year, Gods Among Us (2019), the champions, now referring to themselves as Thunder and Lightning, defended in a multi-person Ladder match against 7 Year Itch, Raspberry Vice, Death Squad, and the Suplex Sweethearts and managed to pull out the victory after Marcus pulled down the titles after Marcus Bombing Balmer, of the Death Squad, through a table. Less than a week later however, Marcus and Morgan would lose the Championships to the Death Squad - which now featured Marcus' former contender to the Spirit Championship - George Anton - after their manager, Ava Knight sprayed mist into the face of Tyler. A week later, the former Champions got their rematch in a tornado match - however, Marcus and Balmer pinned each other at the same time. As they fought over who won, the general manager, Ice Jones, declared that they would have a decisive rematch at Killer Instinct (2019) in a Two Out Of Three Falls Street Fight match, and due to their constant fighting, the titles were made vacant. The following week, the Death Squad kidnapped Marcus' girlfriend, Alice le Blanc, and gave her a beating so severe, her career was ended and she was forced to retire after being piledrivered onto a chair. More fighting the following week lead to Jones stating he was sick of it, and that the losers of the title match would be fired. At the PPV, the Death Squad scored the first fall after Morgan received a finisher to the head with a chair, though they made amends by tying up the scores at 1-1 following a combined Marcus Bomb and Morgan Stunner. After initially seeming that the Death Squad had won following a Tiger Driver to Morgan, which resulted in a three count, though Jones caused the match to restart as Morgan's foot had been on the ropes. Eventually, Tyler Morgan would force Anton to tap out to the Guillotine, winning the match 2-1 for Marcus and Morgan, causing the Death Squad to be fired, Marcus and Morgan to win their second Alpha Tag Titles, and Marcus finally getting his revenge over Anton after his actions when he was once the Spirit Number One Contender. Later that same night, they both entered the "Thrive to Survive" Royal Rumble, though neither of them won. Marcus entered at number nine and scored one elimination, but was eliminated just after the 28th entrant joined the match.

Marcus then received a title shot against the ICW World Heavyweight Championship, Graham Baker, at the "Shane Halliday House Party" event, though he was unable to win the title. The Tag Champions first title defence was against the team of Jack Wylde and Sienna Ward at The Mighty Don't Kneel (2019), though in the lead up to the match, Marcus and Morgan would argue over how Marcus had been trash talking their opponents, as well as Marcus bringing up the fact Tyler had never won a World Title when Marcus was going for his fourth against Baker. This lead to Tyler stating he would not show up to their title defence at the PPV, leading Marcus to state he would defend the titles in a handicap match. At the PPV, Tyler showed up at the last second, and the duo retained their titles successfully. Marcus' shit talking back fired once again a week later however, as the ICW World Champion, who was also the Alpha World Heavyweight Champion, Graham Baker, demanded a Tag Title shot as he had defeated Marcus weeks before, and wanted to be a triple champion. He would bring in his former trainee Liz Karlson for the match. Marcus and Morgan were forced to defend their titles without any prior notice, but managed to successfully defend them, giving them a win over a double World Champion. At Storm The Throne (2019), Marcus and Morgan were set to defend their titles against the Suplex Sweethearts - who had defeated them for the ICW World Tag Team Championships once before and after weeks of fighting, got them to agree to put their titles on the line as well - meaning the winner would walk out with both sets of tag titles. At the event however, the match ended in a no contest when the Sons of Samhain attacked all four wrestlers.

Following this, Alpha got a new General Manager who forced the duo to defend their titles in a ten team Guantlet match, as he didn't like that "singles stars teamed up to make a mockery of the tag team divison". During the match, Marcus and Morgan would eliminate the teams of Justin Rattler and Tyler's brother Jake Morgan, Murdered by Maple, Elijah Jordan and Lukas Thayer, Shane McCormick Jr. and Christian Black, Jack Wylde and Sienna Ward, Jimmy Venom and Ravage, and The Suplex Sweethearts only to be eliminated by Jeffery Turner and Maynard Brooks. However before the fall, the referee had been accidentally knocked out, which lead to the stable mates of Turner and Brooks to interfere. When the referee got back up, the timekeeper informed him of this, which lead to him reversing the decision and disqualifying them. The final team was Aaron Arkham and Arata Asakura. They attacked the Sons and Samhain to try and get rid of them - however the Suplex Sweethearts would return, causing an all out brawl, causing the final match to be a no contest - meaning Marcus and Morgan retained their titles and outlasted nine other teams, fighting for nearly an hour. After some back and forth on Twitter between the Champions, as well as NIKE PRO World's Champion Jon Jrygin and still double World Champion Graham Baker, a match was set up for the Tag Titles in which Jon/Baker stated that if Marcus or Morgan got a pin over one of them, they would give them a title shot. During the match, Jon turned on Baker and laid the knocked out Marcus over Baker, giving them the win - though Marcus wouldnt receive any title match as a result of this. At State of Emergency (2019) Marcus and Morgan's title reign came to and end when they lost in a fatal four way ladder match against Aaron Arkham and Arata Asakura, also involving the Sons of Samhain and the Suplex Sweethearts. They recieved their rematch a month later at Death Before Defeat (2019), though were unable to regain the titles.

After this, Marcus and Morgan entered a feud with the Church of Samhain, previously known as the Sons of Samhain, with Orion Ramsey being revealed as the leader. They had attempted to recruit Liz Karlson, and sick of what they had been doing, Marcus and Morgan made it their mission to get rid of them. Eventually at Day of Reckoning (2019) a match at the Samhain Compound was set up with the four members against Marcus, Morgan, Karlson, and Jack Wylde, as his former tag partner Sienna Blake had turned on him and joined the Church. During the match, Marcus eliminated Jeffery Turner by spearing him through a flaming table. Marcus later eliminated Maynard Brooks, and himself, by sacrificing himself and throwing them both through a table when he was about to pass out through a sleeper hold. Marcus' team eventually won the match... however it was because of Orion losing on purpose after convincing Karlson to join the Church, allowing himself to be pinned. The feud continued, and after failing to become number one contenders for the titles, Marcus and Morgan faced Brooks and Turner in an elimination match at Ground Zero (2020), and won without either of them being eliminated. The Church then ceased to exist as Orion suffered injury, meaning Marcus and Morgan had technically managed their goal of getting rid of the Church. At the same time, they both entered the tournament for the vacant ALPHA Wrestling Zenith Championship, as Jordan Rattler had been stripped of the title. Tyler lost in the first round, whilst Marcus defeated Shaun Ramirez in the first round, but was defeated by eventual winner Aescher Crawley. Before their match against the Church, Tyler told Marcus their team was over and that the match against the Church would be their last as a team.

Marcus was entered into a 15 man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the ALPHA World Heavyweight Championship, though Marcus was eliminated by Dante Payne. After Casino's elimination, the duo had a mild scuffle. Meanwhile the Devious Duo tournament was set up to crown new number one contenders for the Tag Team Championships. Each person was assigned a random partner, and Marcus was assigned Hayden Salvation, one of the minions to Aaron Arkham - one half of the Tag Team Champions, to the annoyance of Marcus. Just before it started, Arkham turned on Salvatain, meaning Marcus now trusted his new partner. They would defeat Kyle Boe and Travis Burke in the first round, though would lose to Harry Sterling and Devon Slayton in the second round after Casino caused a distraction with playing cards. This lead to the two of them fighting in the opening match of Break or Be Broken (2020), meanwhile tag team titles main evented the show. Marcus would lose to Casino in the match.

Heel Turn (2020-2021)

During Break or Be Broken (2020), after having lost to Casino earlier in the night, Marcus would come out after Tyler Morgan had lost to Dante Payne. Marcus would comfort Tyler, however he would suddenly attack Tyler Morgan, turning heel for the first time in 9 years. Marcus had stated that Tyler was actually the one who stabbed Marcus in the back when he ended the team and that he was disgusted in the crowd for booing Marcus for attacking Tyler. After airing his grievances, Marcus told Tyler he was dead to him and attacked him once again, then left to a chorus of boos. Marcus then went radio silent for an entire month, with everyone wondering what had happened and where he had gone. He was booked for the first round of the 2020 Ragnarok Royale against Tyler Morgan, and when it came time for Ragnarok (2020) he still hadn't returned, however Marcus did indeed show up for his match and during it he completely destroyed Morgan, wrestling a new style he had never done before, using the five counts multiple times, choking Tyler with the ropes, slamming him into the ring steps, intentionally breaking the count out to continue to beat down and so forth. As Tyler put up no defence at all due to the shock of all this, Marcus won easily. He was unable to win his second round match against Dante Payne, however and was eliminated. After this Marcus showed he had truly changed as he agreed to be in part of a 3 on 1 handicap match alongside Casino and Ravage against Jordan Rattler, a match the trio easily won. Marcus then entered a Gauntlet Match to determine the number one contender to the Zenith Championship, entering fourth and eliminating Jordan Rattler, though would be eliminated by Jimmy Venom. After defeating Rattler again in Tag Team action Marcus and Casino were booked to fight Rattler in a handicap match at Fall of Kings (2020). Marcus and Casino beat down Rattler so badly he was covered in blood and was unconscious, however just as they were going to win Tyler Morgan, appearing for the first time since Marcus' beatdown, ran in and forced the ref to allow him into the match and make it a tag team match. The referee agreed, and Tyler quickly tapped out Marcus (tapping out for a quick strategic loss), who would proceed to attack Tyler seconds after though backstage staff would break it up before they could do more damage to each other.

After this, the general manager Andrew Kaelin- who Marcus and Morgan had problems with in the past, but who Marcus had now been working as a lackey for in the events with Jordan Rattler - named Marcus as the number one contender for the ALPHA World Heavyweight Championship held by Jon Jrygin as thanks for doing his bidding in beating down Rattler so much, but also to make up for what Morgan had done days earlier in the tag match. Morgan would come out stating this was disgusting and that he should get a title shot too, and it was set that if Morgan could beat Jrygin on the next episode of Friday Night Fusion, he would be added to the match at Ascendance (2020), but that if he lost he would be forced to stay at home for the rest of his multi year contract. Despite Marcus and Jrygin teaming up to try and get Morgan fired, Morgan won after Jrygin and Marcus argued at ringside about how Jrygin should win match. After this Marcus tried to get Morgan fired by showing up at the gym and trying to get Tyler to attack him in "self defence", though this failed. The three wrestlers then had back and forth, arguing about their ten years of history together and just before the PPV all three went though a table. At the PPV, Marcus kicked out of Morgan's "Morgan Stunner", however Morgan was then hit with Jrygin's "Dream Killer" and was subsequently pinned. This upset Marcus as he had kicked out mere seconds earlier, and Marcus continued his tirade against Morgan, now for costing him the World Title due to getting pinned in the match, as Marcus didn't want him in the match in the first place, and lost despite the fact he kicked out of Morgan's finisher seconds earlier.

The next week Marcus attacked Morgan before his Chase for the Case qualifier, and he and Morgan brawled all over the arena. Sick of their fighting GM Kaelin announced a Last Man Standing match between the two of them at the biggest event of the year Gods Among Us (2020), though the two of them also weren't allowed to attack each other etc until then. After this Tyler would question what Marcus' hospital bound girlfriend thought of Marcus' change, and Marcus warned Tyler to never mention her again. Tyler however instead visited Alice at the treatment centre, where she broke down and revealed that Marcus had been taking extra work for Kaelin and doing his bidding to be able to pay to afford her treatment, blaming himself for her being attacked by the Death Squad so much earlier. This shocked Tyler, who didn't realise why Marcus was doing what he was doing - but it was too late, and after Marcus found out that Tyler had visited her, despite what Marcus had said, he decided to get revenge. He drove all the way to Tyler's home town and broke into his brother, Jake Morgan's house and attacked him, leaving him for dead. To make it worse, Tyler was video calling Jake and so watched the beat down, unable to do anything about it. After that, feeling Tyler wasn't punished enough, Marcus did the same thing and broke into his parents house and beat up Tyler's Dad so much he was put into the hospital alongside Alice. Tyler had driven as fast as possible to try and get there in time, however he was too late and merely arrived to the sight of his bloody and unconscious father. Tyler tried doing their Last Man Standing a week early, however Marcus was having none of it and instead sent out a squad of security. After Tyler beat them all up he got to Marcus' locker room, only to be greeted with the footage of Marcus beating up Tyler's family, after which Tyler destroyed Marcus' locker room. At the event Marcus and Tyler had a bloody battle against each other, which also included Marcus being stabbed in the hand and was pinned to a piece of wood, however Marcus was able to rip it out and then Marcus Bomb Tyler Morgan off the Balcony through a table for the ten count, reminiscent of the time Marcus Marcus Bombed Tyler off a Monster Truck, giving Marcus the win in their decade long on and off feud/rivalry/friendship.

Days later Marcus would come out and demand a World Title shot against new World Champion Harry Sterling, however Jimmy Venom, Shane Vergo, Jordan Rattler, Jason Baast, and Arata Asakura came out one by one and also demanded title shots and so a six pack challenge happened to determine the number one contender was set up for later in the night - which Marcus won after pinning Rattler. The next week Sterling shit talked Marcus, and so Marcus attacked him before their scheduled tag team match and Marcus Bombed him through a stage light. At this point the returning general manager Ice Jones tried his best to ruin the title match and had Sterling defend against Graham Baker, Shawn Hunter, and Jimmy Venom in consecutive weeks and stated that if Sterling lost the title the match would instead be Jon vs the new Champion. Sterling defeated Baker and Hunter, however as the match against Venom went on Marcus eventually came out and caused it to become a no contest, which allowed Sterling to make it to Killer Instinct (2020). In addition to that Ice had taken Marcus off the Caws.ws reunion show, not once but twice (first booked to fight Kai Stevens in a Steel Cage and then changed to teaming with GeeCee against the Morgan Brothers) further pissing off Marcus. Eventually at the PPV event Sterling defeated Marcus, though Marcus had kicked out JUST as the three count hit, though the referee gave the win to Sterling. Later that night Marcus entered the Thrive to Survive Royal Rumble in the 27th spot and eliminated Kyle Boe, however Marcus was eliminated by eventual winner Orion Ramsey.

Having been screwed over Marcus was given another title shot for The Mighty Don't Kneel (2020), this time in an I Quit match so that it would be impossible for a referee to screw over Marcus once again. During this point, the Chase for the Case winner, Arata Asakura, also got involved with both Sterling and Marcus constantly threatening to case in his briefcase. He managed to trick Sterling into believing he had joined his side, which Marcus tried telling Sterling was obviously bullshit. Marcus would play mind games - going out of his way to not say "I quit" at any point leading up to the match and would constantly out smart Sterling by catching him by surprise with things such as low blows and sneak attacks - showing the veteran experience though Sterling was able to get a measure of revenge when he put both of them through the PA System with the Lion's Roar - both knocked out. At the event Marcus would throw Sterling off a scaffolding with a running Marcus Bomb, which sent both both hurtling down. With both unconscious Asakura showed his true colours and cashed in his contract giving him the free win and the Championship by turning it into a triple threat match with neither men really able to do anything as Asakura pinned Sterling to become Champion. Although Marcus didn't win he still managed to have a massive impact as the injuries caused to Sterling as a result of his actions meant Sterling could no longer compete, putting him out of action indefinitely.

After this Marcus was inserted into a Battle Royal to determine the number one contender to the ALPHA Wrestling Empyrean Championship Championship which Marcus won by last eliminating Calum Mackenzie, making him number one contender for Casino's Championship. The following week Marcus lost to Mackenzie as a result of his stablemates getting involved and as a reward Mackenzie was added to the match at Storm The Throne (2020). Marcus found himself annoyed at both the fact that Mackenzie had stablemates and used them to his advantage - with Marcus alone - and the fact that Casino refused to state what the stipulation would be until the time of the match itself - Marcus not a fan of the Sports Entertainment stuff that Casino liked to do. Come the time of the PPV he revealed it was a Ladder Match which Casino managed to win, much to Marcus' annoyance as he stated it was simply due to Casino's unfair advantage of having known the stipulation before hand. Marcus did manage to take out Mackenzie's minions during the match however, who tried and failed to win the match for their boss.

At this point a brand split was introduced and Marcus was drafted to Friday Night Ferocity, in which a new World Championship was established - the Alpha Wrestling Openweight Championship which could be competed by both male and female superstars. Everyone on the roster was put into Fatal Four Way matches to determine four winners who would go on to fight in another Fatal Four Way to determine the first Champion, and Marcus was annoyed he not only had to qualify but wasn't simply named Champion after all the times he had been screwed over recently. Despite this he was still able to win his qualification match against Kyle Boe, Niko Nishijima, and Angelo. The match saw Marcus take on Ravage, Jimmy Venom, and Tyler Morgan but unfortunately for Marcus he lost when Morgan finally got a measure of revenge against his former Tag Team Partner and pinned Marcus to become Champion giving Tyler his first ever World Championship. This of course pissed Marcus off who was annoyed it was a Fatal Four Way match up as the last time Marcus and Morgan had fought one on one, Marcus won. This of course was not the last of it and after Tyler put out an open challenge for the title, Marcus accepted - though after George Anton and Jake Morgan got involved it was turned into a tag team match up which Marcus and Anton managed to win. Anton found himself as number one contender for the Championship however, which meant Marcus had to settle for fighting Jake Morgan at Masters of Combat (2020) which he won by referee stoppage.

Marcus then defeated Skyler Renshaw to become number one contender for the Alpha Wrestling Empyrean Championship, after which he defeated Casino at Gates of Oblivion (2020 in a "House of Mirrors" match to become the Champion. Marcus's chosen stipulation was that you have to be European to qualify to fight for the title, which caused his number one contender, Shane Vergo, to be disqualified due to not being European. After this, Alice le Blanc finally came out of the hospital and took matters into her own hands - attacking Priscilla Venom and putting her out of action, her husband being Jimmy Venom who was one of the possible contenders for the Empyrean Championship. Marcus was unaware of this happening and was as surprised as anyone else when it was revealed, though happily accepted the help with Alice now acting as his manager. Marcus's European stipulation ended up being overturned and instead, he had to defend his Championship in a five person gauntlet match at Break or Be Broken (2021). Though Marcus entered last, he was unable to defend the Championship and was defeated by Cosmo. Marcus was then traded to Wednesday Night Warfare.

Marcus started his stint on Wednesday Night Warfare by attacking General Manager Nicholas Lancer and easily defeated him in seconds in a match a week later where Lancer had come out of retirement to fight him. He then entered a gauntlet match to determine the number one contender to the Alpha Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Marcus entered first and eliminated Graham Baker though was then eliminated by Tyler Morgan. Marcus then entered a feud with Rafael Barrera, who had lost the gauntlet match as well but had celebrated eliminating Tyler Morgan which Marcus was annoyed by as he had done most of the work in eliminating Morgan. Barrera tried to attack Marcus after a match, in revenge for Marcus doing so earlier, though it's turned against him when Alice is able to stop it by stepping in the way. Marcus then faced Kyle Boe for the Alpha Wrestling Zenith Championship, with the announcement that if he won his match at Fall of Kings (2021) would be for the Zenith Championship. Marcus lost when Tyler Morgan got involved however, with the hypocrisy of Morgan ruining a title match by getting in involved annoying Marcus. At Fall of Kings Marcus and Barrera fought to a draw with both of them being counted out. They didn't have to wait long for a rematch though, as they were paired together in the same group in the Gauntlet of Glory, though Barrera won the rematch. Marcus would proceed to lose to Arata Asakura, defeat Kyle Boe, lose to Steven Thronridge, and defeat Jameson Flywheel - giving him an overall record of 2-3 in the Gauntlet of Glory though this wasn't enough to progress further in the competition. Marcus was then entered into the Chase for the Case at Gods Among Us (2021), though was unable to win the briefcase. He then entered a gauntlet match to determine the number one contender to the Alpha Wrestling Aitherios Championship. Marcus entered fourth and eliminated Rick Young but was eliminated by Bryce Gordon. He entered the Thrive to Survive and entered 11th though was eliminated by Havoc. He then went on an almost two month hiatus due to injury.

Marcus would return at The Mighty Don't Kneel (2021) and would introduce and ally himself with Gunner, a newcomer who had debuted during Marcus' off time with Marcus claiming he had turned a new leaf during his time off injured and was no longer evil. Gunner believed him and the two became partners. They entered a gauntlet to determine the number one contenders to the Alpha Wrestling World Tag Team Championship though were unable to win. They entered fourth and eliminated Hana and Havoc and Ruri and Sasami though were eliminated by The Conglomerate. Marcus showed his true colours however and turned on Gunner, annoyed that a newcomer was supposedly taking his place and he had been tricking him and doing so to learn more about him to make beating him easier. Marcus proceeded to defeat Gunner, though that wasn't the end as Gunner would push Marcus' feet off the ropes a week later during his match against Bryce Gordon for the Alpha Wrestling Aitherios Championship, causing him to lose. Marcus got his rematch a week later, in a Championship Scramble, which he found to be unfair as his 1v1 was ruined, though he was unsuccessful once again. To end their feud, the duo fought in a Steel Cage match to determine the number one contender for the Championship - which Gunner won.

Tweener and return to tag team division (2021-2022)

Marcus then moved into a feud with the Conglomerate, causing him to act more as a tweener than a heel. Their leader, Elroy Dalton had his own made up title, the Top Sales Championship, and so Marcus decided to try and win it off of him as part of his feud with the stable. As the feud continued, Marcus was able to beat up most of the stable but lost to Dalton for his title in a Texas Bull rope Match at Day of Reckoning (2021). Later that same night, he was unable to win the Thrive to Survive Royal Rumble.

He then was hired by Yoshino Nakano to be her tag team partner to try and win the tag team titles due to his success in tag team wrestling. Originally he turned it down, but changed his mind after seeing how much she was willing to pay him. They were unable to win the titles, losing multiple title matches - though all of them were multi team matches rather than them being given a single 2v2 match. Both of them also were given singles title matches at various points but lost those as well. The team eventually came to an end in June 2022, after six months of teaming together, after they lost in a War Games match at Gods Among Us (2022) due to a decree that the titles would no longer be inter-gender, forcing their team to be broken up. Marcus then left the company.

He then walks down the Ramp, slapping the hands of Fans. Once he reaches Ring side he climbs up the steps, climbs under the bottom rope and then runs to the opposite Rope, puts his Arm up in the air and fireworks go off in the ring.

Short Bio

Marcus is your every day Good Guy. If Its a rule, hell follow it and he looks down on those who dont. Hes a firm believer in putting your faith in the Fans and their support can help you rise above anything and any foe. Do not get on his bad side however, if you rile him up enough, he can vicious and under the right match stip can be deadly. He ended the Career of Tyler Morgan and nearly killed Paul Burchill in another match. Marcus is known for his tenacity, it takes a lot to keep him down, especially in a match were pinfall is not the option. As long as the Opponent has fought along the rules and fought honourably, Marcus is more than happy to admit defeat and congratulate his Opponent. Otherwise he will look for retribution.

One thing that Marcus is bad with is trusting people. Hes too trusting. Many times hes believed someone with something only for it to mess up. He believed that both Tyler Morgan and Gabriel Gospel bad changed only for them to not to. Hes also fairly naïve in that sense as well. This has slowly been fased out however, he knew Daniel Bryan would do it in FWA but used him till he did as he was useful in a feud.

Background/Personal life

Growing up in Bolton with average grades but a passion for sport, Marcus decided he either wanted to get into wrestling or football. He initially tried for Football but ended up not taking it very far, finding he was pretty bad at it despite it being one of his passions. He didn't give up after after finding he was unable to do 90 minutes and most people were able to get the ball off of him, he moved onto cardio and eventually wrestling. He would eventually get accepted in FCW, where he was trained up pretty well and that's where the story for Marcus started. Marcus is a proud resident of the town, frequently going back, helping out the community in any way he can when he returns. He once opened up a wrestling company there but it grew too expensive for him to retain. He intends to do so again once he retires though. Marcus attends as many Bolton Wanderers matches, his local Football team, as he can but that has dwindled since he started wrestling multiple times a week. Before going to America for wrestling, Marcus had a season ticket with them for over 10 years, mainly during his education. In the dating world, Marcus has dated, at the time fellow MCW competitors Kaitlyn and Angelina Love, had a short fling with Abigail Lindsey in AKW as well as a few on and off relationships with AJ Lee in FWA and WWE. In Alpha, he started dating Alice Le Blanc.
