The Lock Wrestling Federation (LWF) Cross-Hemisphere Championship is a championship in the Lock Wrestling Federation.

History[]

The start of the company[]

In April 2001, Lock created the Lock Wrestling Federation. On the April 16 episode of Warzone, Phoenix and TMA were co-winners of a battle royal. Later that week on Lockdown, Phoenix defeated TMA to become the first Cross-Hemisphere Champion.

Over the next several years, the title would be held by LWF legends such as CoolJ, Crow, TMA, Arelas, Emperor, and Psiko.

Unification with UWF Global Title[]

In July 2003, a rival federation known a United Wrestling Fusion (UWF) invaded LWF at the Revolution Pay-Per-View, but it was later revealed that Lock had in fact signed all its members to contracts, and they had brought their titles with them. In August 2003 at Meltdown the LWF Cross-Hemisphere and UWF Global Titles were unified when Fear defeated UWF Global Champion Red Fusion in a Table Match.

Title Vacated[]

At the Maximum Carnage PPV broadcast in February 2005, Emperor defeated reigning champion McCammon to win the title. Following the PPV, LWF went on hiatus and the title was vacated.

LWF Returns[]

LWF reopened on December 3, 2007. At the Renewal Pay-Per-View event on December 23, the vacant Cross-Hemisphere Title was won in a Ladder Match when Diablo defeated McCammon.

Current champion[]

The LWF Cross-Hemisphere Title is currently held by Donovan Hastings, who won a four person Ladder Match at Meltdown.
