Josh Timmons, better known as Shadow, is a multi-time wold champion. Born in January of 1980 in Detroit, Michigan, who loved professional wrestling as a child.
Elite Wrestling Federation (1998 - 2007)[]
Josh Timmons entered the unknown wrestling promotion called Elite Wrestling Federation in 1998. During his 9 year tenure, Josh Timmons won the world heavyweight title a record 10 times before the company closed.
American Wrestling Alliance (2007)[]
Josh Timmons entered another wrestling promotion called American Wrestling Alliance in mid 2007. He had very good winning streak going before the year was out. He was called up to the Global Wrestling Alliance for more training before going to Christian Championship Wrestling.
Global Wrestling Alliance (2008)[]
While in the Global Wrestling Alliance, Josh Timmons became a fan favorite and becoming number one contender for the GWA World Title. After losing to Michael O'Dell in the title match, CCW officials purchased both American Wrestling Alliance and the Global Wrestling Alliance and created a third brand to their promotion called Total Nonstop Action. All wrestlers from both companies filtered into TNA Brand and when the 2008 Draft came, all wrestlers were equally drafted into three brands.
Christian Championship Wrestling (2008)[]
On June 12, 2008, Christian Championship Wrestling held its third annual draft, Josh Timmons was drafted to the Salvation Brand.
Salvation Brand[]
After the draft, Josh Timmons was still the fan favorite and became number one contender for the World Championship and the X-Division Championship respectively. Although he did not win the titles; he still is a top contender for those titles. In August of 2008, the CCW made the titles be defended on all brands. The World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the World Championship and the TNA World Champion in June of the same year, making it harder to be the number one guy in the company.
United Wrestling Federation (2009)[]
In 2009, Josh Timmons, and everyone else in Christian Championship Wrestling, moves to the newly created United Wrestling Federation.
