Jimmy Angelo Collins (born August 25th, 1992), better known for his ring name, "Cowboy" Jordan Pierce, is an African-American Professional Wrestler who is currently signed to WWE under the ECW Brand.

Early Life[]

Professional Wrestling Career[]

New Japan Pro Wrestling (2006-2021)[]

Young Lion years, CHAOS, and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship reign (2006-2010)[]

Collins began his Pro-wrestling training in 2006, joining New Japan Pro Wrestling and becoming a Young Lion. Collins will spent two years as a young lion, competing at house shows and dark matches losing against top stars and against fellow trainees. Collins would make his televised debut match on November 25th, 2008 against CHAOS member, Shinsuke Nakamura in a losing effort. Despite the loss against Nakamura, Collins, now going by his current name Jordan Pierce, would slowly gain the support of Nakamura, that he would take on a senior role and help train him in Nakamura's Japanese Strong Style and Shoot Style Wrestling techniques. Soon, he would have a rematch with Nakamura on December 21th after 3 weeks going under Nakamura's watch where he would lose once again, though unlike his previous performance, he would put up a much better fight this time around, even hitting his Gun Stunner finishing move for the very first time. Eventually, Pierce would get a major upset win against Nakamura on February 28th New Dimension show. Their fourth outing on April 19th, 2009 was a stipulated match as prior to the match, Pierce and Nakamura would begin having more heated exchanges and interactions during major tag matches and ringside appearances. This would come to ahead when during the press conference to hype up the event, the two would get into a physical altercation that ended with Pierce hitting a "shoot" forearm to Nakamura. Almost breaking his nose. In later interviews, Pierce would state that he put too much force into the forearm and was severely reprimanded by most of the seniors following it. Except Nakamura and Naomichi Marufuji, who both found the situation both hilarious and badass. At the pre show interview, it was confirmed that if Collins were to lose to Nakamura again, he would have to join CHAOS and serve as Nakamura's lackey and underling. On the contrary, if Nakamura were to lose to Pierce again, he would have to shave his hair bald and leave CHAOS. After a close back and fourth 38 minute bout, Pierce would lose following consecutive Boma Ye's to the back of his head which ultimately paved way for Nakamura's victory. And as the stipulation stated, Pierce was forced to join CHAOS and serve as Nakamura's underling. After 3 months in the group as a manager, group supporter, and preverbal jobber in major six man tag team matches, Pierce was kicked out in favor of Masato Tanaka. Following this, Pierce would enter the 2009 Battle of the Super Juniors tournament where he would end up victorious. Winning the tournament following a submission victory against Prince Devitt in the semis. And on the final day of the tournament, he would defeat Tiger Mask IV (Yoshihiro Yamazaki) in order to capture his first IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. His reign would last until NJPW Destruction that same year where he would lose the title to Mistico. After a few more matches within NJPW, including winning a second IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship by defeating Tiger Mask IV once again, losing the title to Naomichi Marufuji, and defeating Mistico in a non-title match, he would decide to leave New Japan in order to pursue other ventures and more opportunities.

Return to NJPW (2015-2020)[]

Atlanta Pro Wrestling (2010-2020)[]

Pierce would sign and debut at New Orleans Pro Wrestling at their signature event, Grand Rising 3, competing in the 6 man ladder match for the NOPW Intercontinental Championship as a replacement for an injured Rick Wilson, who was originally supposed to win the match before his injury. Pierce would win the match and win his first NOPW Television Championship. He would hold onto the title for 8 months. Losing it at the 2010 Saints Giving PPV to KD Sampson.

Ring of Honor (2014-2021)[]

1st Year and First ROH Television Championship Reign[]

All Elite Wrestling (2021-2022)[]

Pierce would sign with AEW following his departure with Ring of Honor and would make his debut on AEW Dark on the February 9th episode defeating Serpentico. He would appear again defeating KC Christian. He would pick up another victory on the March 2nd episode defeating Ryan Nemeth. Pierce would make his first Dynamite appearance in a losing effort to Cody Rhodes on the March 10th episode. He would make sporadic appearances on both shows sharing both wins and losses. He would begin a rivalry with then TNT Champion Miro for the gold over the course of the May and June where he would defeat Miro for the title on the June 11th "Friday Night Dynamite" show and would hold on to the belt until dropping back to Miro at AEW Fyter Fest Night Night 2 on July 21st. Following this, the rest of Pierce's time with AEW was on the shelf as he was suffering from a back injury sustained back in June following a match with Wardlow. Plans were made for Pierce to return in a big time feud or even do a excursion back to New Japan, however, those plans fell through. Following his contract expiring on November 11th, Pierce would leave AEW.

WWE (2022-Present)[]

NXT (2022-2024)[]

Pierce would sign with WWE in late 2021 and would debut for the company's developmental brand almost immediately on the January 11th episode, defeating Guru Raaj. The following week, he would cut a promo explaining his intentions in NXT and that his main target (or as he would put, "bounty") was the NXT Championship, which was currently held by Bron Breakker. Until Grayson Waller chokes and fails his opportunity, he would take on anyone who wants to take him down. Putting a bounty of $100,000 on his head for anyone to claim if they managed to beat him and the first opportunity would be the very episode. Later on the show, Pierce would make it to the ring and wait for his challenger. When it would be answered by Von Wagner where he would come out victorious. On the January 25th episode, he would defeat Damon Kemp. The next week, his challenge would be answered by Ikemen Jiro, would Pierce would once again pick up the win. On the February 8th episode, Pierce would be attacked by Boa following his match with Zante. Ensuring that he intends to claim the bounty next week for himself. The two met on the Vengeance Day special event where Boa would pick up the win after a interference from Joe Gacy and Harland who had taken a liking to and wanted to face for themselves. On the March 1st episode of NXT, Pierce would return and assault both Gacy and Harland with a steel chair following Harland's match with Draco Anthony. The next week would see Pierce defeating Anthony himself before calling out Harland and Gacy to a match which they accepted, but instead of facing one of them, Pierce would be facing both of them. At the NXT Roadblock special, Pierce would defeat both Gacy and Harland after sending Harland through the announce table and hitting Gacy with a Heart Stopper Elbow Drop with Gacy's throat around his neck. Following this, Pierce would defeat Boa on the March 15th episode of NXT to qualify for the NXT North American Championship ladder match at Stand and Deliver. On the go-home show to Stand and Deliver, Pierce would defeat Grayson Waller and Santos Escobar in a triple threat showcase match. At Stand and Deliver, Pierce would compete in the 6 man ladder match for the NXT North American Championship where he would end up losing the match as Cameron Grimes would pick up the victory. Grimes, Pierce, and previous champion, Carmelo Hayes would all get into a feud for the title which would see them face off twice. Once at NXT Spring Breakin' along with Solo Sikoa, and their blowoff match at NXT: In Your House in a triple threat match where with the help of Trick Williams, Hayes would win back the North American title. Following this, Hayes and Pierce would get into a feud of their own which would lead to them facing off at NXT Heatwave where Pierce would win the NXT North American title for the first time. At NXT Worlds Collide, Pierce would face off against and pick up a win against SmackDown's Ricochet in a Open Challenge for the North American Championship. Following this, Pierce would face off against Carmelo Hayes once again. Where the match would end in a DQ as several wrestlers from the locker room would come out and get in the ring. In response to this, a ladder match for the North American title would announce for NXT Halloween Havoc. The match would contain Pierce, Hayes, Von Wagner, Oro Mensah, Nathan Frazer and the winner of the match, Wes Lee. Pierce would get into a friendly best of 7 rivalry with Nathan Frazer which would culminate at NXT New Year's Evil 2023 where Frazer would pick up the win. Around this time, the Dusty Rhodes Classic would begin with Pierce as one of the participants. However, he would need to look for a partner before his upcoming quarterfinal match against the Jersey Devilz. He would eventually ask Tyler Bate for help, though they would ultimately lose at the same time, Pierce would suffer a shoulder injury and would eventually miss Stand and Deliver that year.
