Jonathan Manuel Pereira (born September 20, 1991), better known by his ring name Johnny Valor, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to a developmental contract with Omega Wrestling Alliance. He also appears in Gamma Pro Wrestling.
Early Life[]
Pereira was born to Manuel Pereira and Teresa Pereira (nee Espadero). His father is Portuguese-American, and his mother has both Portuguese and Spanish ancestry. He has one older sister, Valeria, and one younger brother, Marco. Though his mother is of Sephardi Jewish descent, Pereira and his siblings were raised in their father's Catholic faith. He was an amateur wrestler at New Bedford High School, graduating in 2009 and subsequently enlisting in the United States Army. He was stationed at Joint Base Myer-Henderson near Arlington, Virginia. Pereira served until 2015, at which point he received an honorable discharge and moved to New York City, settling in Brooklyn.

Valor was signed to a contract by Philadelphia-based Omega Wrestling Alliance in February 2019, and subsequently assigned to the promotion's developmental territory, Omega Wrestling Tomorrow.

Personal Life[]
Pereira currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is bilingual, speaking fluent Portuguese in addition to English. He is a cousin of fellow OWT wrestler Kat Ricci. Pereira is a fan of the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and FC Porto.
