The Inferno Championship Wrestling (ICW) Championship is a professional wrestling world championship, defended in the Inferno Championship Wrestling federation. It was the most prestigious and highly regarded World Championship in ICW. It was the highest ranked championship in the company.
History[]
The ICW Championship was inducted on March 13, 2010 on the 2nd episode of Saturday Night Eruption. TJ Tilli and Leon Lonewolf qualified for the World Title Match, defeating Triple A and Chrys Genocide respectively in Ladder Matches. Lonewolf defeated Tilli in an Inferno Match to become the first World Champion.
TJ Tilli is the current champion,defeating then-champion Draven Logan Kennedy, Wayne Morley, and Leon Lonewolf in a No Holds Barred Fatal-4 Way at ICW Summertime Smash. Currently, Lonewolf have the Most Reigns at 3. Draven Logan Kennedy has the record for Longest Reigns at 35. Blaze had the most successful title defenses at 2.
After ICW merged with YouTube Championship Wrestling, The title will be scheduled to unify with the YCW World Heavyweight Championship on the first episode of Premium Championship Wrestling's Thursday Night Rapture.
