Hawaii State Wrestling (hSw) is a e-wrestling promotion opened in 2014 by Jimmy Osiris.

History[]

hSw was formed when Jimmy Osiris took out a loan to create his own independent wrestling federation with funding from the Kamekona's Shrimp Truck Company.

The federation travelled the island of Hawaii putting on shows in various locations, gaining a cult following.

hSw rose to prominence when it secured a television deal with Univision Honolulu in 2014. The deal was initially for three pilot episodes of Unscripted, which aired from July to August 2014.

The first episode of Unscripted was hosted at Hawaii By Night Gentleman's Club. The episode saw Ethan Napo defeat Salem Morningstar, Mr. Hard Cardboard wrestled his first match for ten years and defeat Dark Angel and was headlined by Van Gorgeous defeating Jaxon Frost. The episode received mostly positive reviews from critics, which praised the federations hybrid action packed style.

Since the pilot ended hSw has been in negotiations with Honolulu and other television networks regarding airing a bi-weekly episode of Unscripted.

2015[]

In March 2015, Jimmy Osiris purchased a local sports hall and construction work began on turning it into hSw's new arena. A television deal was rumoured to be on the horizon. In July, hSw put an advert in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser as it began recruiting new talent. hSw was also rumoured to be negotiations with some mainland promotions about being a feeder promotion.

On August 18, hSw announced deals had been confirmed with the following wrestlers:
