The Global Wrestling Alliance (GWA) is a professional wrestling organization, based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States . The American Wrestling Alliance operated mainly in the southeastern United States. Wrestling bouts were promoted in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Sometimes promoted in the Virginias. In 2007, it was owned by Maximillion Pegasus and from late 2007, the Christian Championship Wrestling owns Global Wrestling Alliance.

History

Christian Championship Wrestling, who also operates AWA, opened GWA to the north eastern United States. This is a brand extension from the American Wrestling Alliance.
