About GWA:[]
Gladiator Wrestling Association (GWA) was a storyline driven E-Fed that emphasized quality over quantity. In the e-fedding world in the early 2000s, where promos cut in the ring were the run of the mill roleplays of the day, GWA stood out of the crowd and took storytelling elements and craftfully wove them into roleplays alongside your standard trash talking promos. The best way to describe the type of storytelling that occurred in GWA was if you could cross fan fiction with a soap opera with sci-fi with psychological thrillers with corporate espionage and mystery and intrigue and combined that with professional wrestling, you would only begin to scratch the surface of the creativity on display at GWA.
GWA started off as a circle of friends who enjoyed roleplaying with and against each other, telling a greater story in the process. GWA's entertaining storylines led by our talented roster captivated the attention of the best of the best across the e-fed community at the time. GWA talent gained recognition in interfed tournaments such as Last Man Standing (LMS) and When Worlds Collide (WWC), with GWA members past and present reaching finals and even placing in both respective tournaments through the years.
What set us apart from the rest was our entertaining storylines, our robust matches and cards, and our talented roster that included a wide array of the best of the best of e-fedding from federations like IWO, FWF, SWF, SWA, IW, NEW, and of course home grown GWA talent. With this, GWA quickly gained a reputation of excellence and high quality and garnered many fans that followed GWA events and storylines until the end and gained so much more talent for our roster though the years.
GWA Resurgance (Gladiator Wrestling Alliance)[]
In the early 2000s, the Gladiator Wrestling Association stood head and shoulders above the rest as the premier professional wrestling company globally. For the better part of four years, the GWA captured international attention with spectacle and unrivaled combat sports which still echoes greatness to this day. Even after its closing, the GWA left an enduring and indelible mark on combat sports and professional wrestling. It may have fallen out of main-stream memory, but it was merely waiting for an opportunity to rise again.
Fifteen years later - under the rebranded name - Gladiator Wrestling Alliance - GWA has returned under new ownership and management. Multiple time World Champion wrestler, Shane Clemmens, has purchased the rights to the name and all involved. His intent is to return the GWA to its former glory with his own personal touch.
Now thanks to several potentially intentional leaks, news of GWA’s return has spread. A resurrection of sorts has been planned and the old guard has been called upon to return to the promotion they helped build.
Now, Gladiator Wrestling Alliance steps into the future.
