Valerie Amy "Valley" Carter (born February 12, 1989) is an American professional wrestler better known by her ring-name Erika Leight.
Early life[]

Valerie is the middle child of professional wrestler Drake Leight and his wife Karen, being the younger sister to Zachary (Robert) and older sister to Violet. The siblings were born and raised in Chicago, Drake Leight wrestled in territories and independent promotions during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
Professional wrestling career[]
Training and early years (2007 - 2009)
After Valerie's brother Robert Leight became a professional wrestler, she wanted to get into wrestling herself despite it being against her parents wishes. After finishing high school, she trained with Robert and attended wrestling schools. In 2007 she made her debut under the name Valerie Leight, eventually changing it to Erika Leight.
Wrestling was originally not planned as a career, but more as a hobby. Erika was attending Aurora University studying fine arts until her scholarship fell through.

Her parents are former profession wrestler Drake Leight and former manager Karen Leight while her siblings are Robert and Violet.
In her spare time, Erika enjoys reading books. Some of her favourites include the Harry Potter series, Invisible Monsters and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
