EMW King of Extreme

EMW King of Extreme is an annual supershow put on by Extreme Madness Wrestling. It is EMW's version of King of the Ring and the winners of the two tournaments get a shot at the EMW World Heavyweight and World Women's Championships at Extreme Anniversary and it is held in April. The inaugural King of Extreme was held in 2011.

History

2010s

King of Extreme 2011 was held on May 22, 2011 at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA. The event featured eight matches in total with two of them being title matches. In the King of Extreme 2011 Finals, Bud Bundy defeated Terrell Owens in an Extreme Rules Match and in the Queen of Extreme 2011 Finals, Kelly Bundy defeated Dark Queen in an Extreme Rules Match.

King of Extreme 2K12 was held on April 15, 2012 at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC. The event featured ten matches in total with two of them being title matches. "The Day Walker" Blade defeated "AVGN" James Rolfe for the EMW World Heavyweight Championship. In the King of Extreme 2012 Finals, Duke Nukem defeated Bob Sapp in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere Match, and in the Queen of Extreme 2012 Finals, Bustice defeated Lindsay Lohan in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere Match.

King of Extreme 2K15 was held on April 19, 2015 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO. The event featured ten matches in total with three of them being title matches and it will be the first King of Extreme event after a three-year hiatus. The only title change was Floyd "Money" Mayweather becoming a 2x EMW Cruiserweight Champion. In the King of Extreme 2015 Finals, Austin Juhasz defeated "Mr. Hollywood" Thomas Kole and in the Queen of Extreme 2015 Finals, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey defeated Bonnie Rockwaller.

EMW/MWF King of Extreme was held on April 17, 2016 at the Honda Center in Houston, TX. The event featured fifteen matches at the event with one title match and the event will be the first event where sixteen superstars from Extreme Madness Wrestling and Multiverse Wrestling Federation will complete for a world title shot at the EMW World Heavyweight Championship or MWF World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Anniversary 2K16. In the King of Extreme 2016 Finals, EMW International Champion "T-Dawg" Tyrone Daniels defeated Sir Guillermo Esgrimidor.

EMW/MWF King of Extreme 2K17 was held on April 30, 2017 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event featured ten matches at the event with two title matches. In the King of Extreme 2017 Finals, Tarble almost won against "T-Dawg" Tyrone Daniels until Austin Juhasz interrupted the match and attacked both men thus ending the match via No Contest.
