Marr would then add the stipulation and make the title match an Electrified Steel Cage of Death Match, the same match in which Marr won the title from Malcolm Jones at Bloodsport. On the February 23 episode of Voltage, Jones announced that he would be the Special Guest referee for the EAW Championship Match.
At King of Elite, Ms. Extreme defeated Dr. Bethany Blue in order to win the Interwire Championship. Later in the show, Extreme would come to her sister, Consuela Rose Ava's aid during her Falls Count Anywhere Match against Lars Grier, hitting Grier with the Interwire Championship. Thus, entering herself in this situation with The Corvus. Later in the show, Terry Chambers. checks on Ava, who had gone through hell in her match before The Corvus went to attack the three of them. As of result, Chambers found himself in the same situation as well. On the February 23 edition of Voltage, Blue and Extreme faced off in a rematch with the Interwire Championship on the line. On the January 5 edition of Voltage, Hannah Marin interrupts The Woogieman in the middle of an interview, declaring himself as an entrant in the Grand Rampage match in April. Marin claims that Jesse Barlow sees a lot of great traits in Woogieman and states that she and Barlow would be more than honored to have Woogieman join them. On the January 12 edition of Voltage, Woogieman denies Marin's offer, claiming that he has a brand to protect. Woogieman claims that there's something about Barlow that he doesn't trust and informs Marin that he hired a private investigator to do a little investigating on Barlow and found some information about his biological parents. On the January 19 edition of Voltage, Barlow demands answers from Woogieman, but Woogieman wants something from Barlow in exchange for the information and that's Marin. Barlow agrees with the trade and gets an envelope with some information about his past. On the January 26 episode of Voltage, Barlow informs Marin of what was in the envelope, but there's not much information. Woogieman tells Barlow that there's even more information. Just like the first time, Woogieman wants Marin at his corner. Once again, Barlow agrees to the trade. On the February 1 episode of Voltage, Marin reunites with Barlow with the other envelope which reveals that Barlow's biological parents sold him to a crime family in order to pay off their debit. Outraged, Barlow finds Woogieman in catering as the two of them brawl before being held back by security. On the February 23 episode of Voltage, Sofia Clarke interviews Woogieman, stating that he wants an apology from Barlow. If he doesn't get the apology, he will resort to extreme measures and that's to face Barlow in an Electric Eel Match at Shock Value. Marin interrupts the scene and says that they are not going to apologize but Woogieman has his match.
After waiting for ages to get his hands on Shortfuse PAKA, Korey Gaines and PAKA face off in the first round of the King of Elite Tournament. Gaines would fall short in winning the match, thanks to PAKA using Provencial as a distraction, but his issues with him would not be over. On the January 12 edition of Voltage, Gaines would appear after PAKA's match with Charlie Marr and connect with an Okie Destroyer on Provencial into the stage equipment. On the January 19 episode of Voltage, Gaines superkicked PAKA during his match with Jesse Barlow, causing a disqualification. On the January 26 episode of Voltage, Gaines faced Barlow in a match. Towards the end of the match, Provencial connected with a Booby Trap on Gaines behind the referee's back in order to help Barlow win the match. On the February 1 edition of Voltage, Gaines challenges PAKA to a Blackout Match at Shock Value. On the February 23 episode of Voltage, they raise the stakes by making it a "Loser Leaves Voltage" Blackout Match.
