The NWA World Heavyweight Championship was created by James Walker the owner of NWA: Primetime Wrestling, and was awarded to the Boss Bobby Lashley.
The NWA World Heavyweight Championship, is the top title contested in theNWA: Primetime Wrestling. This championship promotes the main event status wrestlers in which the SCW can offer, creating an eligible target for all other wrestlers to aim for. The holder of such a title as this can hold the contracted right to call himself the best in the SCW as well as the southern parts of the United States of America.
The current reigning and defending champion is Johnny "Epic" Douglas after defeating Tyler Youngblood in a brutal Last Man Standing Match.
