Down Under Wrestling (DUW) is an Australian professional wrestling promotion, founded in 2011 by Austin Henderson. From 2011 to 2015, the company operated on a monthly basis, releasing its shows as DVD volumes (DUW Vol.1, for example). Sometimes, these events would have an added tagline that was relevant to a specific match on the card.

In 2014, these monthly events began airing as pay-per-view events, and the volume numbers were quietly retired.

DUW contracts[]

In its formation, Down Under Wrestling was described as an Australian independent promotion, or an "Aussie Indy", according to Australian slang. The company signed its performers to unofficial contracts to do "x" amount of dates for "x" amount of money. While working for DUW, performers could also work elsewhere, as one show a month was hardly a means for income.

In early 2014, with a pay-per-view deal secured, DUW began giving its performers a portion of sales from merchandise and DVDs, as extra incentive for them to work more high-profile matches.

Roster[]

This is not a set roster, it is simply a list of in-ring competitors and other on-air talent who frequently make appearances.
