History[]

The CWF Hardcore Title was a secondary championship belt for the Classic Wrestling Federation. While most consider the CWF Mid-Atlantic Championship to be the traditional "Hardcore" title for the CWF, President Steve Duarte created the Hardcore Title as a stand alone Title in the Fall of 1999. The first Hardcore Champion was Jimmy Luciano, Luciano also holds the distinction with the most reigns at two. Luciano defeated Tasty Tanya and Joey Chaos on the November 29th, 1999 edition of Sunday Night Brawl. The Hardcore Title was quickly disbanded when Mark X re-took over the reigns as CEO and President in early 2000. The Mid-Atlantic Title is still considered the hardcore title for the CWF.
