Blackout (2011) is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Premium Championship Wrestling for the month of February. It is the first event under the Blackout chronology. The show featured eight professional wrestling matches.

Info[]

The main feud heading into Blackout is between PCW World Champion Yoshiru Long and Leon Lonewolf. The feud between these two stems from Yoshiru's time with Hellacious World Order where Lonewolf was the leader of the group. Yoshiru returned to wrestling weeks before Struggle for Power II by attacking both Lonewolf and Mariano Fernandez. At Struggle for Power II, Yoshiru defeated both Leon and Mariano to win the PCW World Championship, his second World Championship overall. From there, Yoshiru continued to terrorize the roster and defeat everybody that was put in his path while Leon has continue to battle injuries that he suffered while he was the champion.

The secondary feud heading to Blackout is between Israel Steele and Michael Morrison. This feud began when Morrison debuted and defeated Steele in his first PCW match thanks to interference from Israel's brother Paul Blair. The next week on Rapture, Morrison defeated "The Hero Killer" John Sharpe and later that night, he caused a distraction which allowed Paul Blair to cost Israel a victory for the second week in a row. Minutes later, Shannon Saint announced that Israel would defend his PCW Platinum Championship against Morrison at the pay-per-view.

The third feud heading into Blackout is between the Dawn of the New Age and Generation Next. Signs of this feud began at Battle Finale II when Talia Skye prevented Alice Humes from interfering in the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match that was between Israel Steele and Draven Logan Kennedy. Both DNA and Gen-Next competed in a tournament to crown new PCW World Tag Team Champions after Shannon Saint stripped Kevin Styles and J.T. Banks of Da Xtreme Dynasty of the championships on the February 12th edition of Saturday Night Rapture.
