Aero Scantlin is a professional wrestler. He is most recently known for his time in Down Under Wrestling under the ring name Beck Wade, where he is the reigning DUW Australian Champion.
Professional wrestling[]
Wade lost his first match in OWA to Victor Huntley, in the first round of a 4-Man Tournament to crown a new OWA Champion. He would then go on to team with Daniel Strawberry and Salty Tiger to defeat Bryan Daniels, Angel and Grady Drake in a 6-Man Tag Team Match.
Wade participated in the Pot of Gold Ladder Match at Futurefest III, but was unsuccessful in winning the contest.
Mid-card success, United States Champion[]
Wade was moved to the short-lived Vibranium brand, where he defeated Jason Oliver on the debut episode. He extended his winning streak the following week with a win over Grady Drake and then Lamar, advancing him to the final of the tournament to crown the inaugural United States Champion. Finally, Wade defeated Moses Webster in a hard fought battle, becoming the first United States Champion in OWA history.
Wade returned to Adamantium, with an impressive win over Bryan Daniels to his credit. However, he was unable to overcome the veteran Zack Richards the following week. At Redemption, Wade successfully retained the United States Championship against Sarinyde, but lost the title on the 4th of July to Angel.
In the months following this loss, Wade's career floundered as he attempted to regain his title, suffering several losses to then-champion Alex West and Angel, who had become World Champion by that point.
