Battle Finale is an annual pay-per-view for Premium Championship Wrestling. Previously, an event with the same name was held by YouTube Championship Wrestling, which would be later fused with Inferno Championship Wrestling and turned to PCW, which holds the name rights now.
It is billed as the ultimate feud-ender, the biggest stage of the year when it comes to determine who's the better man or woman in the feud.
History[]
Battle Finale is a pay-per-view consisting of championship matches and various other matches. The first Battle Finale event took place on July 11th, 2010 live on WGN America and YCW's official YouTube channel (which would later become the official channel of PCW). At the first event, the main event was Orlando Cruz against Mr. Baller and Phillip Mustang for the YCW World Heavyweight Championship. Baller went on to defeat Cruz and Mustang to win the championship. After the match, Mustang made his retirement and Cruz hasn't competed since. The event also featured Israel Steele competing in two separate matches against Osiris and "Mr. Intensity" Kerry Collins for the YCW Broadcast Championship and the YCW Platinum Championship respectably. It was the final event that took place under the YCW banner as both YCW and ICW worked as one where before the main event. Shannon Saint announced that he bought out both companies and merged them to form PCW.
Battle Finale II was the first Battle Finale produced under the PCW name. In that event, Mariano Fernandez defended and lost his PCW World Heavyweight Championship to Leon Lonewolf in a Fate of the Gods Deathmatch. Also, Israel Steele defended and retained his PCW Platinum Championship in a grueling Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, as well as Danielle Lopez defeating Talia Skye in what is considered to be one of if not the greatest match in women's wrestling history.
Battle Finale III is the second Battle Finale event produced under the PCW name. A lot of different faces from the first two events. In that event, Jay Thunder and Syn will battle for the PCW World Heavyweight Championship, James Baker and Leon Lonewolf will battle each other once more and Smith Jones, Brian Stryker and a competitor to be named will battle each other for the PCW Broadcast Championship in a three way match.
