Louis Gerardo Philipe (born May 1st, 1982), is a Mexican fourth-generation luchador enmascarado (masked professional wrestler), and businessman. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the Smackdown brand under the ring name Azrael, as the leader of El Rebelión Familia. Philipe is also the founder, co-owner, president, and CEO of the World Wrestling Elite (WWE) promotion.
Having cultivated a international legacy over a career spanning two decades, Philipe is regarded the most influential and the greatest professional wrestler of the lucha libre tradition of all time in Mexico , .

Personal Life
In mid-2016, Philipe was rumored to be in a relationship with professional wrestler and longtime friend Cassandra Archer after Philipe's ex wife and the mother of his son, Lisa Arias, discovered a series of text messages accusing him of infidelity and adultery posted the explicit and initmate screenshots of him and Archer on her Instragam and Twitter account. This caused a widespread media coverage across Twitter and Instragam, in which constant harassment and abuse was posted and tweeted against Archer hundreds of thousands of posts.This, along with the accusations that Archer was the ultimate cause of his divorce in his marriage to Arias and quickly confessed allegations of an extramarital affair with her. Two days later, Philipe released a statement on his Twitter account and took sole responsibility for his actions, calling it a "private matter" by publicly declaring his love for Archer and issuing a sincere apology to his ex wife, Lisa Arias. After 6 years of marriage, Philipe filed for a divorce from Arias due to his infidelity and adultery. Their divorce was finalized on Stepember 21st, 2017.
On December 14th, 2016, a judge denied Arias's request to limit Philipe's custody after she accused him of child abuse. Later that month, Arias recieved sole custody and a restraining order against Philipe after testifying under oath that he was physically abusive towards her during their marriage, and he threatened her to kill her and their son. Philipe, however, denied the statements. Court documents showed that Arias detailed numerous abusive incidents and stated, "...." Philipe and Arias reached a custody agreement in August 2017.
Relationship with Cassandra Archer
For a total of almost two years, Philipe and Archer did not publicly comment on the status of their relationship due to their alleged affair and their respective wrestling careers becoming subject to constant heavy media coverage; The New York Times referred to them as "the first power couple of professional wrestling."; the couple were dubbed "Phil-cher"—a portmanteau coined by the entertainment media.

They are known for their private relationship, although they have appeared to become more relaxed and opened in recent years. They generally avoid discussing their relationship out in public, and Philipe stated he and Archer agreed to keep their relationship and their daughter private out of the media coverage, while a unknown source reported in a People article that he does not "play with [their] family and referred Archer as his real soulmate." He has also expressed his disdain for the media in the past before; he rarely participates in interviews and aviod questions relating to his personal life.
In March of 2018, reports emerged that the couple became engaged and and were planning to get married. Philipe and Archer privately married on April 24th, 2018 at their estate with family and friends in East Los Angeles, California. Her wedding dress was designed by Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy with some guests' dresses designed by designer Michael Costello.The newly weds moved into a custom-built mansion known as "Sing Sing" located on a 51-acre estate in Los Angeles, California. On July 7, 2018, Archer gave birth to their daughter, a girl named Fabbie Philipe at Lenox Hill Hospital in Los Angeles, California.
During his early childhood, Philipe travelled with his father as he wrestled in various territories, and met the likes of Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras during this time.
