WCSF Ascension...[]
...is an undercard show used before Rampage or Mayhem cards. It is the place for wrestlers assigned to the WCSF roster to train and develop their skills before moving up to the main show.
Ascension was cancelled after Revolution V, and Dark Matches were instead used to introduce rookie wrestlers. After a while, dark matches were dropped and a new rookie show, Uprising was created, although unlike Ascension, Uprising aired at a separate time from Mayhem and had its own championship.
