American Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment, LLC, known simply as American Xtreme Wrestling (AXW), was an American professional wrestling promotion based in Yonkers, New York. It was a subsidiary of Diamond Wrestling Corporation (DWC), one of the largest and most underrated mass media companies in the United States. The company's global headquarters and venue (Knockout Asylum) were located in Yonkers, New York, which was also the home of TKO Wrestling, which was also owned by DWC. The company was previously known as AWW Entertainment, LLC. before changing to AXW Entertainment, LLC.
The promotion primarily focused on hardcore wrestling, and while partially under Jaden Ofori, it had connections to the mixed martial arts/professional wrestling promotion, First Impact Championship Series.
AXW was founded in the summer of 2018 in Yonkers, New York. The promotion based its style around hardcore wrestling, featuring many very violent matches. In addition, AXW kept a huge focus on the entertainment aspect of wrestling, as the storylines involved sexual scenes, alternative lifestyles, strong profanity, and extreme violence.

Brandon Ofori was looking to create a company that could compete with Professional Championship Wrestling, a high profile wrestling company that his brother, Jaden created in 2015. The company was originally founded in May 2018 as American World Wrestling (AWW). Three months later, Jaden Ofori took over the creative end of the promotion from Brandon and rechristened the promotion from American World Wrestling to American 'Xtreme' Wrestling. The promotion showcased various international styles of professional wrestling, ranging from lucha libre to puroresu and primarily hardcore wrestling.
Company partnerships[]
In 2020, AXW and Diamond Wrestling Corporation announced that they would enter a multi-year partnership with the Rambunctious Wrestling Coalition (RWC), and its owner/founder, Tommaso Cappelli. It was also announced that DWC would purchase a stake of ownership in RWC. The transaction was completed on May 2, 2020.[1] It was also announced that AXW was in cahoots about gaining a potential partnership with Destruction of Xtreme Wrestling (DXW). DXW was also purchased by DWC, and the transaction was completed on May 26, 2020.
TV Series (2019-2021)[]

From 2019 to 2021, AXW ran a weekly TV show, that broadcasted under the same name, as AXW TV. It aired on Saturday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, on Xtreme Sports America (XSA). The show took place in Yonkers, New York, at the Knockout Asylum.
The first show was on April 20, 2019. The announce team for AXW consisted of Julian Perez and Damian Kennedy, with Perez doing the play-by-play and Kennedy taking on the role as a color commentator. The commentators were well known for screaming expletives or shrieking a high pitched scream when something shocking occurred in a match, in which, typically, the referee would tell the timekeeper to ring the bell.
As of now, the first few seasons of AXW's weekly television series have been released on DVD by Xtreme Entertainment Group and Diamond Wrestling Corporation. AXW matches have also been extras on several other DWC/XEG wrestling DVDs, including AXW's "Most Hardcore Matches" series. Several AXW alumni worked for Triple X Wrestling (xXx), which was founded by former AXW Hardcore Champion, Red X.
