Rex Michael Hamlett (born 23 December 1989) in Anaheim, Calafornia and is an American born Canadian professional wrestler.
Hamlett and his brother Christopher formed a wrestling business when they were 13. It was called T (Teenage) W (Wrestling) P (Professionally) TWP.
Early Life and Emmegration[]
When Hamlett was born his grandfather James had a heart attack just a month after being settled in Anaheim resulting in his and brother's parents Christine and Michael deciding to live in James's home in London, Ontario, Canada. When Hamlett was 2 his parents told him the reason was because that his parents were offered a huge job twice their annual salary. When Hamlett found out this was a lie he decided to against what his parents wanted him to be. He became a wrestler.
TWP[]
He and Chris formed the Teenage Wrestling Professionally (TWP) in 2002 and around their entire year group from high school came and trained there. Rex had multiple personas including:
- The Canadian Cutter (2002-2003)
- Rex Ripper (2003-2005)
- The Ripper (2005)
- Rex Hamlett (2006-2007)
He won a record of eight world championships and 10 Canadian Championships. He left TWP to his brother in early 2007 and Christopher and all the roster decided to change the promotion to Adult Rated Wrestling. The ARW is still in currency.
After TWP and Independent Circuit[]
He left TWP after being scouted by Harry Johnston the executive owner of talent regulations for the Roughness Wrestling League. He joined RWL for three months after leaving and joining promotion Ohio Valley Wrestling
