He is most notably known for his start in Pro Wrestling Rebellion (PWR). He debuted on the August 19, 2013 edition of Vantage Point, the first episode, and failed to become the PWR Rebellion Champion, but successfully became the PWR Vantage Point Champion in his second match.
Tate Elliot Jackson was born on June 15, 1985 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to parents Gina and Aaron Jackson. He has a twin sister named Taryn Elizabeth Jackson. She is also a professional wrestler. At a very early age, professional wrestling was his and his sister's entire lives. They aspired to become a professional wrestlers after watching various legends wrestle at independent shows that crossed through Iowa. His parents, Gina and Aaron Jackson, were also avid professional wrestling fans, which is what sparked the relationship between Tate, Taryn, and pro wrestling. At a very young age, Tate knew what he wanted to do with his life. His parents were very supportive, but only agreed to let him and Taryn both go to a local wrestling school in Des Moines under the condition that they finish high school with grades that met their parents standards. Tate strived to get the best grades possible and completed high school at the top of his class. Taryn completed school a bit lower, but still high in the class.
Pro Wrestling Rebellion (2013)
On August 2, 2013, Tate Jackson signed a contract with Pro Wrestling Rebellion under the ring name Tate Jaxon. He was scheduled to debut on the first episode of Vantage Point on August 19, 2013. Tate was placed in two matches along with 9 other talents on the episode. The first match was a 10 person battle royal for the PWR Rebellion Championship. He was defeated by Silas Romero. However, in his second match for the PWR Vantage Point Championship, he defeated Abobo and became the first Vantage Point Champion.
On September 2, 2013 Tate resigned from the company for unknown reasons, vacating the Vantage Point Championship.
PRIDE Pro Wrestling (2015 — )
On January 7, 2015, Tate Jackson signed a contract with PRIDE Pro Wrestling under the ring name Tate Jaxon after a year and a half sabbatical from professional wrestling.
When Tate was 17, his father Aaron cheated on his mother and left their family. Tate took this extremely hard when his mother drank herself into the hospital. After seeing this, Tate attempted suicide and was placed in a mental institution for a year in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Tate has one dog, a fawn colored pug named Bruce.
