Rachelle Lynn Woods (born Edenburn) (born December 24, 1990) is an American model and professional wrestler, formerly under developmental contract with Florida Championship Wrestling under the ring name Rachelle. Woods is currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment on the Friday Night Smackdown! brand under the ring name Rachelle Starr. She is the ex-fiancee of professional wrestler Daniel Riley.

Early life

Rachelle Lynn Woods (born Edenburn) was born on December 24, 1990 to parents Sharon Edenburn and Joseph Montanez in Omaha, Nebraska. However, her father was never in the picture, in and out of jail most of the time. Her mother had her at a tender age of 17. At age 2 her mother married Bradley Woods. He adopted her soon after, having her last name legally change to Woods. She has three younger brothers; Alexander Scott (born August 28, 1992), Christian Ray (born October 8, 1993), and Kaleb Rylie (born February 27, 1995). Though she was born in Omaha, she lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa until she was 5. She then moved to Carson, Iowa until she was 7 when she moved back to Council Bluffs.

She never was really a girl who had everything in life, but she was always thankful for what she did have. Growing up Rachelle struggled with the grieving of her biological father being murdered at age 9. He was working in Arkansas at the time of his murder with his step brother Louis. He shot him multiple times after a fight between the two. Rachelle, who never knew her biological father that well, began seeing therapists at age 10 for her severe emotional issues attached to losing her father. At the age of 13 she was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, severe mood disorders, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She was started on a regimine of daily medications to keep her disorders under control. She still takes medications daily.

Throughout Middle School, Rachelle battled depression and even got as far as a suicide attempt. However, wrestling made her see the light. It made her see there was a creative outlet for all of her frustrations. She vowed when she graduated she would bring out the best in herself and begin to train wrestling. In 2005 when Rachelle started 9th grade at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, she began having attendance issues due to bouts of depression again. Her family moved to Harlan, Iowa in October 2005. She was forced to drop out of school and attend a program called "Flex Education" in Harlan that would allow her to complete high school in a more controlled and less social environment due to severe panic attacks. She was forced to drop from there in January 2006.

Rachelle began seeing more therapists that diagnosed her with her current conditions as well as schizophrenia and severe social anxiety disorder. She dropped out of school entirely in the fall of 2006. In March 2007 her family moved to Exira, Iowa. In Fall of 2008 she began to attend GED classes at Iowa Western Community College in Atlantic, Iowa while still living in Exira. She obtained her GED in June 2009 and moved to Miami, Florida, where she attended the Miami International University of Art & Design. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in Graphic Design in 2011. She spent the next year modeling before being attending Florida Championship Wrestling's school to begin her wrestling training.

Professional Wrestling Career

Florida Championship Wrestling (April 2012 - August 2012)

Rachelle Woods began training with Florida Championship Wrestling in April 2012. She trained specifically with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat for quite a while before learning a few tricks of the trade from the infamous Patricia "Trish Stratus" Stratigias, who happened to be one of her inspirations. She also perfected her finishing maneuver with the help of Amy "Lita" Dumas. Rachelle also was trained and still is being worked with, by her ex-fiance whom she met at an FCW signing, Daniel Riley. In late July Ricky Steamboat deicided that she would debut as Rachelle in to feud with Shaul Guerrero, known by her ring name Raquel Diaz. Before Rachelle was able to debut in an FCW ring, she was involved in an altercation with Ivelisse Vélez better known by her ring name Sofia Cortez. The altercation lead to both women being released from their contracts in early August 2012.

WWE / World Wrestling Entertainment (October 2012 - Present)

October 2012

On October 15, 2012 Rachelle Woods signed a contract with WWE and was placed on the Friday Night Smackdown! brand as Rachelle Starr.

Personal life

Rachelle met Daniel Riley at an autograph signing in April 2012. The two immediately hit it off and began dating. In mid-July 2012 the two became engaged and planned an October 14, 2012 wedding. However they called off their engagement on August 15, 2012. Since then, the two haven't spoken to the public's knowledge.

Woods currently lives in Seattle, Washington with her eldest younger brother, Alexander (who goes by Zander).
