In an effort to continue our transparency and utilize the new functions of the Fandom Discuss feature, we will be reimagining Featured Article Nominations on our new forum.
As opposed to running monthly nomination threads, we will be sectioning nominations into three-month quarters. During said quarters, nominations for Featured Article will remain under consideration for the entirety of the three month duration. This allows for users to avoid resubmitting unselected articles each month, while also allowing us to consider a wider breadth of nominations.
If you wish to nominate an article for consideration, please reply to this thread as a comment and link the article you wish to nominate. Please limit three (3) submissions per user, per quarter. Articles can be reconsidered for subsequent nominations only if they were not selected in any of the previous twelve (12) calendar months.
The following articles may not be nominated due to past selection: Jamie O'Hara, Aria Jaxon, Stephanie Matsuda, Astraea Jordan, Amber Keys, TLA, & Noah Reigner.
The following are the standards by which the EWE team will select an article for our Featured Article section:
•Organization: Please ensure that your article is cleaned up, devoid of distracting spelling and grammar mistakes, and properly formatted.
•Completion: Articles should be completed with no floating headers lacking subsequent writing; please make an effort to have the article as updated as possible.
•Appropriateness: While EWE has not recently had an issue with inappropriate content being posted, articles should be respectful for various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and other groupings; offensive content will not be considered.
•Scope: The staff at EWE wishes to ensure representation for various federations and characters; diversity in this representation will be considered upon nomination.
If there are any questions or concerns with the methods of selection listed above, please contact someone from the Administrative Team. We hope to receive your nominations. Good luck to all involved!
